Lunar's Story

"Where did I come from?" I asked, she nodded and looked at me
"Well, I'm from Forest Pine, I've lived there for 15 years then I moved here," I told her, "What about you? Where did you come from?" I asked and she spoke,
"I've lived here for 14 years, I was born and raised in this Forest,"
"Any siblings?" I asked her
"Nope, I'm an only child!" She said happily "What about you? Any siblings?" She asked me
"Well I had a sister, although, she went missing years ago..." I said with some sadness in my tone
"Oh I'm sorry," She said with a worried tone as she looked back at me
"No, it's ok... I need to let go of her," I said slowly
"Go on," She encouraged me, her ears perked to show she was listening,
"Well, around 4 or 5 years ago, when we were both Eevees, we were outside playing on a mountain because she wanted to follow in my footsteps so I taught her how to climb mountains and she followed me up one that night, we were playing tag and she ran close to the edge," I said with a tear, remembering the horrible night, "She told me she was fine, but then, the ground beneath her began to give way, she looked down, then at me with a tear rolling down her cheek, then the rock broke off with the little kit on it, her scream was heart wrenching, I called her name 'RUBY!' over and over again," This time I actually started crying while telling her the story, she looked at me with saddened eyes, and wrapped her tail around mine and put a paw on my back to comfort me, I continued, "I slid down the mountain to where she fell but I couldn't find her anywhere and  I was too weak to move the rocks. I ran back home and got my parents to help me, my mother, an Espeon used psychic to move the rocks, unfortunately, we never did find her, and every day after I blamed myself for what happened to her, we kept searching for weeks but eventually, we gave up and assumed she was gone forever.."

She hugged me carefully, minding my wounds and said "It's okay, there's not much you could've done, Lunar," with that she stood up, "Would you like to come meet some of my friends?"
"Sure!" I replied, wiping away the tears, she ran out of the house and up the path,
"C'mon!" She called back to me, I ran up to her until we were level. 
We made it back into the centre and she ran up to a Vaporeon and a Sylveon, they looked at her and walked towards her "Hey Crystal!" The Vaporeon said, jumping, the Sylveon just simply waved one of their feelers, "Guys, this is Lunar!" Crystal said to them, introducing me.
"Hi Lunar!" The Vaporeon shouted
"Hello," The Sylveon said, smiling. Crystal walked back to me,
"Thats Hydro, but everyone calls her Hypro because she's always super energetic," She said pointing towards the Vaporeon "...And this is Jinx!" She said pointing to the Sylveon
"What happened to you?!" Hypro asked looking at my left foreleg, 
"I, uh, kinda ran into Crystal and bounced back into a tree," I replied, chuckling nervously,
"Ooh! I can help you! Hold still!" Jinx said, I stood still and looked at her as her feelers surrounded me, they wrapped around my forehead and leg and began glowing, it felt funny. After a few seconds she retracted her feelers and told me to remove the bandages slowly. I started unwrapping my leg and to my surprise it was perfectly fine, I tried to put some pressure on it and it felt as good as new! I slowly unwrapped the bandage around my head and gently patted the surface, I felt no pain whatsoever! "Awesome! Thank you Jinx!" I said happily.
"No problem!" She smiled at me again. Crystal interrupted us,
"Anyways, what shall we do today?" She asked us, I looked at Hypro and Jinx because I had no idea what to do here. "What about the cafe?" Hypro suggested, I was down with that, Crystal looked at Jinx, "You ok with that?" Jinx nodded in reply and Crystal ran in the direction of a small building painted with red and orange berry juice, the words VULPIX CAFE were carved into the wall with six tails coming off the name.

We all walked through the door and was greeted by, a Vulpix, "Hi! My name is Pyro, welcome to the Vulpix Cafe! May I take your order?"
"Yeah, I'd like a Pecha berry shake please," Crystal said
"Ooh! I want an Oran berry shake!" Hypro added, loudly,
"Can I just get a coffee please?" Jinx asked
"And can I get a Cheri berry shake please," I finished
"Okay! Is that all?" The Vulpix asked,
"Yup! My name is Crystal," Crystal said then led us to a table, the Vulpix ran to the back with our order and we sat at our table, Hypro and Jinx next to each other and me and Crystal together, we talked for a while and I answered some questions about how old I am, where I'm from etcetera, etcetera. Hypro does fit the Vaporeon well, she acted like an Eevee kit that'd seen a butterfree, Jinx was friendly, although, she doesn't seem to talk much, she seems quite collected, Crystal, is kind, friendly.. and cute. I quickly got rid of the thought before I started blushing, soon enough, a female Vulpix walked out of the kitchen with four drinks, "Are you Crystal?" The Vulpix asked,
"That's me!" Crystal said with a friendly smile, the Vulpix put our drinks on the table,
"My name is Sandra, call me if you need anything, enjoy!" With that she walked off, I took a sip of my drink and spoke up, "So, where are you from Hypro?" I asked the water type,

She put down her drink and told me some details about her past, "Me? I'm from Forest Grotto, I lived there until I was 8 and then I moved here, I've been living here for 6 years now!" She told me happily, I nodded and smiled then I turned to Jinx, "What about you? Where did you come from Jinx?" I asked her, she looked at me then spoke softly
"I've lived here all my life, me and Crystal have known each other since we were Eevees," She said smiling. "What about you, Lunar, where did you come from?" She asked me, I told her my backstory, leaving out the part about Ruby, that was a story for another time.

Crystal's POV

I thought back to what Lunar had told me earlier, about Ruby, I knew a Ruby, she was an Espeon though, she moved away a few years ago too, I decided it was just a coincidence and dismissed the thought, "Who wants to come back to mine and play games?" Hypro asked us all, 
"ME!" I shouted, Lunar looked at me funnily,
"Calm, down." He said trying not to laugh, "I'll come I don't mind," Lunar said smiling at Hypro, 
"What about you, you coming?" Hypro asked, looking at Jinx, she simply smiled and nodded.

10 minutes later...

"So, what are we going to play?" Lunar asked as we walked into Hypro's den,
"ROCKET LEAGUE!" Hypro shouted, she was acting like a little Eevee again.
"Oh really? Prepare to lose!" Lunar said rather confidently,
"We'll see about that!" Hypro said equally as confident as Lunar, me and Jinx looked at each other, smiling. Hypro led us into a room and switched on her XYBox, she slipped in her RL disc and handed out some controllers, we were randomly teamed, I was with Lunar again, I didn't mind though, I liked his presence, I seem, drawn to it. Anyway, the game had begun. Lunar boosted towards the ball, he jumped and passed it to me I boosted to shoot but Hypro collided with me to knock my aim off, I ended up boosting up the wall. Jinx moved in and took possession of the ball and shifted to score, this time Lunar got in her way and it bounced off him towards me, I jumped and boosted, hitting the ball, the screen displayed CRYSTAL SCORED! BLUE TEAM 1, ORANGE TEAM 0! Me and Lunar celebrated with a high five and went back to playing, after another minute, Hypro scored. Lunar got aggravated because his finger slipped and hit the thumb-stick, knocking him off course. After yet another minute of saving goals the screen displayed, SUDDEN DEATH, the next team to score wins the game, me and Lunar looked at each other then focused on the game, I moved in and took possession of the ball, I faked an attempt at scoring and Hypro went flying, I drove over to Jinx and clipped her altering her movement, Lunar boosted in and delivered the final blow, LUNAR SCORED! BLUE TEAM WINS 2-1! Lunar looked at me with a massive grin on his face, I looked at Hypro and Jinx who looked devastated, "Fair play my friend!" Hypro held out a paw to Lunar and he shook it. 
"Good game guys!" He said, smiling. Jinx smiled and put the controller down, she walked over to the window and looked out of it, "It's dark out, sleepover?" She suggested, Hypro looked at her and shouted "YAY! SLEEPOVER!" Lunar let out a small giggle at her reaction and walked through the backdoor, "I'll be back in a minute," he said, curiosity got the best of me and followed him, he climbed a tree then jumped onto the roof. I followed him, silently, he must of heard me or felt a presence near him because he said, "It's beautiful isn't it?" he looked at me and sat down, I copied his movements and next to him, "Yeah it is," I followed his gaze towards the moon. I began to feel tired, I moved closer to him and put my tail around my legs. I liked sitting next to him, I felt safe. I began to close my eyes and I rested my head on his shoulder.

Lunar's POV

Did she just.. fall asleep on my shoulder? Oh well, I looked at her, she looks cute when she sleeps... I began to feel tired myself, I slowly took Crystal's head off of my shoulder and laid down, I looked over to her and she was sleeping peacefully, I inched closer to her until we lay side by side, I like her presence, it made me feel warm inside..

A/N 

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh another chapter done, I'm also feeling a little better too, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, it took me a while to write, I hope you liked meeting Hypro and Jinx, and.. I've just realised how similar my story is to  Thominasaus' 😅 oh well.. have a nice day or night.. whenever you're reading this :)
