Crude Thoughts

Tears fell from their cheeks, they were lying on the floor, shaking uncontrollably. Jinx and Hypro noticed Crystal's absence and looked around for her. They found their icy friend crying on the floor. Jinx ran up to Crystal "Crystal?! What happened? Are you okay?" She asked quickly, Crystal tried to calm herself down to answer the Sylveon. Although, she couldn't bring herself to it, so she shakily lifted a paw and pointed it at the Umbreon and Espeon, who were happily talking to one another. Then, they walked off, side by side, to who knows where, to do who knows what.

Jinx looked a little confused, she looked back at Crystal "What about them?" Crystal tried to speak, "L-Lu-Lunar-r i-i-is che-cheating o-o-n m-me-" She said through tears and occasional hiccups. Jinx's mouth was agape, she didn't know him well but he surely didn't seem like the type to shatter another's heart. "No, he would never, c'mon, get up. Let's just go to the café, we'll talk about it there, we're attracting some attention... from the WRONG PEOPLE! HYPRO!" Jinx saw the Vaporeon looking through windows, gaping at jewellery. She was snapped out of her trance at the Sylveon's shriek. She saw Crystal, and came running over "What happened?" She asked
"Just, don't worry about it for a second, let's go to the café, we'll talk about it there."
Crystal was still shaking, Jinx rubbed her paw across her back, in an attempt to soothe her. It eventually worked snd Crystal's torrent of tears reduced to a few light sniffles. "It's okay... c'mon let's go..." Jinx said softly, reassuring Crystal.

Crystal got up and stood alongside Jinx and Hypro, her eyes were bloodshot red and her pelt was a little dampened and messy. They all walked to the café and Crystal tried to fix up her pelt a little to look somewhat normal, the last thing she wanted was attention.

They reached the building and walked in, Jinx ordered them each a milkshake. They walked to a table and sat down, "Okay... when you're ready. Tell us what happened." Jinx said
Crystal took a deep breath and began explaining...

The Umbreon turned his head toward its Psychic counterpart, who called his name, requesting attention. He walked up to her and met her in the middle, she was wearing a big grin and handed over a small box, he took it excitedly and opened it. His eyes shined, in the box rest a necklace, with a rare pendant, a crescent moon, wrapped around a sparkling diamond. "Was this the last one?" He asked, she grinned wider and nodded her head rapidly, he pulled her into a tight embrace and thanked her over and over. "Thank you so much, Ruby! I have no idea what I'd do without you!"
"Eh, think nothing of it, we have to look out for each other right?"
"You bloody bet! Hey, you want to come and meet Crystal? I don't think you two have met yet."
Ruby thought for a moment before deciding, "I'd love to! I don't have much else to do today anyways." She smiled, Lunar grinned back.
"She'll probably be back at her house, she didn't come back to mine last night so I presume that's where she's at now,"
Ruby nodded and followed Lunar away. What they failed to notice was the Glaceon breaking down a few feet away.

The walked up the north route toward Crystal's house. They talked about this and that wondering what would happen today and whether Crystal and Ruby would get along. Soon enough, they reached the Ice Type's den and knocked a few times, after receiving no response, Lunar opened the door, to find a note waiting for someone to lay their eyes upon. Lunar looked at it and turned to Ruby, "She's at the cafe," 
"Didn't we just come back from there?" 
"Yup, looks like we're going back there,"
"Ugh, so much walking!" She complained
"I mean... you... could do with some of it..." He smirked
"W-What?! Did you just call me fat?!" She said, blushing slightly, Lunar laughed
"Can neither confirm nor deny that." He said
"Sly little devil..." She said under her breath

They walked back to the centre and found the cafe, they headed toward it. They saw the dynamic trio of Crystal, Jinx and Hypro sat next to the window. They both padded in and told the host they were meeting someone here, the Vulpix let them through and they walked over to where the other eeveelutions were sat, they all looked at Lunar, none of them bared a tiny hint of a smile, Lunar cocked his head and sat next to Crystal, "Uh, hello?" He said, Ruby came over a second later, Crystal shot her a disgusted look, as she took her place next to Lunar. "What are you two doing here?" Jinx asked, 
"Umm, to... celebrate Crystal's birthday... what about you?"
"More or less the same," Jinx said
"You okay? You look upset..." Lunar asked
"Piss off."
"What?"
Crystal cleared her throat, and repeated herself, "I said: Piss. Off."
"Why? What have I done?" Lunar asked, he was getting nervous and confused.
"Ohhh you know exactly what you've done, just... leave me alone..." Crystal said,
Lunar sighed, "Fine... what about Ruby? Oh yeah, guys this is Ruby, my sister. Can she stay?" 
Crystal just stopped listening after she replied to him, she looked out of the window, thinking about things. "Hey, I'm talking to you," Lunar clapped his paws in front of Crystal, returning her to the real world, "I said: Can she stay? Or do you want her to leave to?"
"Nope, she can go with you."
"Fine, and before I forget..." He slid a box across the table, toward Crystal "Happy birthday..."
He ran out of the shop, not waiting a response from the Ice Type, Ruby sat there awkwardly for another second, before standing up to leave, she stopped for a second, thinking about some recent events. Then she realised what Crystal might be so angry and upset about. "Before I go, I think you should open this first." She said to Crystal, tapping the box,
"Why?"
"Just... do it, I think I know why you're so upset," Ruby instructed
Crystal sighed, before reaching for the box, she opened it and froze, it was the same box she saw earlier, it had a necklace in it with a crescent moon wrapped around a diamond, "I-It's beautiful..."
"It's from Lunar..." Ruby said, Crystal looked at the necklace again,
"Lunar... LUNAR!"

Lunar ran, he kept running, he didn't know why Crystal was so mad with him, tears began streaming down his face, he was still confused as to what he did wrong, he expected Crystal to be a little peeved he was late but not push him away, especially after what he and Ruby just got for her... She just, threw me away...

Crystal ran out of the shop alongside Ruby, Jinx and Hypro decided it would be best if they stayed out of this one. "Where would he go?" Crystal asked Ruby, determined to find Lunar and show him she was sorry, before he did something drastic, "Well... there was this one cliff he spoke a lot about, he said it's quite high up and he likes to sit there when he's stressed because it gives him a nice view of the moon," Crystal thought for a moment,
"But, why would he go there it's broad dayl- oh no... oh no, no, no... WHERE IS IT?!" She asked, a crude thought entered her mind, he'd done it once before, she wanted to make sure he wouldn't do it again... Ruby followed her train of thought and her eyes widened, "Follow me!" She began running into the trees, they ran further. They noticed the ground slowly became elevated, they sped up hoping to find Lunar still up here... Not at the bottom...

Lunar sat upon the cliff, he looked down. No... no, not again... He thought, he lay down on the edge and let the tears flow, he seriously considered doing it, but he was resisting for now... he wanted to stall as long as possible and convince himself to turn back. Thoughts raced through his head as his sister and lover raced toward him, they still had a way to go but were determined to not stop. Lunar let thoughts flow through his head, unfiltered. Convincing thoughts... ones a mentally well person would rarely have, Lunar fought the urge for a little longer. After a few more minutes, the tears slowed, he stood up and walked to the edge, he looked over.

Crystal burst through the trees and tackled Lunar away from the edge, "Crystal! What are you do-mmph!" She suppressed his questions by interlocking her muzzle with his. "I'm sorry, I'm so, sorry," Lunar pulled Crystal closer, hugging her deeply.
"I know, I know... I'm sorry too, I don't know what I was thinking, it's j-just so hard..." Lunar began to break down again, Crystal rubbed his back soothingly, Ruby watched from a distance, letting the couple sort it out together. Lunar calmed down and smiled, "Did you like the present?"
"Like it? I love it!" She said, she lifted her neck slightly to show him the necklace,
He smiled, "That's not all, c'mon! Let's all go back and we'll go to yours, we can open the presents there!"
"Sounds like a plan!"
"That includes you, Ruby..."
"How'd..?" She asked as she came out from hiding,
"How else would Crystal have found me? I've only told you about this spot."
"Ah, well... let's go then" Ruby said as she turned away.

All three of them walked back to the cafe, where Jinx and Hypro were still sat, talking among each other, "Come on! We're going back to my place!" Hypro and Jinx smiled, seeing Lunar and Crystal stood alongside each other, both donning grins.

Everyone, except Lunar, arrived at Crystal's house and entered. They all sat around, waiting for Lunar to show up, he said he had to get something from his house first. Lunar burst through the door a little while later, with a big box on his back, "A-A-Ah, not yet Crystal!" He said, Crystal pouted a little before smiling as Lunar joined her on the couch, putting his other gift with the others. "Okay, shall we?" Jinx said, they all nodded and Jinx gave Crystal her gift, "Here! I hope you like it!" She said with a grin. Crystal tore open the wrapping and came face to face with a 2kg box of pecha flavoured ice cream, "Wow! Thank you Jinx!" She said with a big grin, she put the ice cream to one side. "Me next!" Hypro said loudly as she gave Crystal her gift. Crystal opened the wrapping and took out a light blue beanie, "Oh my god! Thank you! It looks awesome!" She said, putting it on, "Last but not least, this is from me," Lunar said, pushing the box toward her, "Why is it so big?" She asked, Lunar smiled and shrugged, "Crystal tore open the blue wrapping paper and opened the box, her jaw dropped. "Oh, my, god! You did NOT get this for me!" She squealed, her eyes lit up with excitement, Lunar grinned wider and nodded. She took the gift out of the box, revealing a 10kg box of the best ice cream around, "GigaMix?!" She said, "So, you bought the best and most expensive brand, and the best and most expensive flavour!? Wow! Thank you everyone!" She said pulling everyone into an individual hug.
