Toni's POV

I woke up in Cheryl's arms.

I nuzzled my head deeper into her neck.

"Good morning." I heard Cheryl's tired voice. Did she not sleep last night?.

"Good morning. Why do you sound so tired?" I asked.

"I didn't sleep last night." She said.

"Why," I said

"I wanted to make sure you were okay." She smiled. Wow, she'd risk sleeping just to watch over me. How cute.

"I'm fine, cher, get some sleep, " I said. she nodded, closing her eyes.

I got up to order some breakfast. Cheryl was fast asleep.

"Can I get pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages. Make sure to have orange juice." I ordered. They said it will arrive shortly.

I pulled a shirt on, changing the temperature in the room.

I turned on the TV, watching the morning shows.

Soon the food arrived. I tipped the guy with the 5 dollars I had left.

I love pancakes.

Cheryl's POV

I opened my eyes, scanning the room.

I heard the shower running, guessing Toni hopped in the shower.

I got up and slowly peeked through the bathroom door.

"I got one less problem without you." Toni sang in the shower.

I smiled, I begin to undress. I slipped my underwear off.

I slowly slipped into the shower, wrapping my arms around Toni.

She jumped but instantly melted into my embrace.

"You scared me." She whispered. I chuckled softly.

"Sorry," I said. She nodded, moving her head to the side.

I kissed her neck up to behind her ear. Toni let out a satisfied moan.

I chuckled against her neck. Toni chuckled along.

"I have to go soon. You think you'll be okay here by yourself?" I asked.  

"Yeah." She whispered, "I'm just gonna talk to my mom tomorrow." She sighed.

"Okay. I wish you the best of luck." I joked. Toni turned around and kissed me.

"What's that about?" I asked.

"I'm thankful for you." She whispered. My heart clutched. I smiled.

"I'm thankful for you too," I replied. Toni nodded, placing her head on my chest.

We just swayed back and forth in the shower.
