Cheryl's POV

I didn't leave the council building yet. But my mom did.

Yesterday was the craziest day of my life. My father is taken care of so I won't be seeing him for a long while.

It's around that time for Toni to wake up, but she hasn't yet which they said is normal.

I can't believe my girl would be a full vamp while I'm only half. I want a full vampire with her. I want to be with her forever.

One of the council members walked in to check on Toni.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked him. He was one of my favorites.

"You want to become a full vamp-like Toni." Ryan nodded.

"Wha- oh yeah." I mumbled forgetting he could read thoughts.

"Well...? Can I?" I asked.

"Well... With your mother's permission. I'm sure we could work something out." He nodded.

I sighed of relief with a nod. "I'll speak to her."

"Kay." He nodded, unhooking the machine.

"Give her a minute." He smiled before leaving the room again.

Toni stirred, her eyes opened. But they weren't my favorite pools of brown. They were lighter and much deeper.

Toni looked over at me, she smiled, her fangs showing.

"Cher." She whispered weakly, reaching for me.

I got up, smiling at her. "Baby. How do you feel?" I asked.

"Amazing. W-What happened?" She asked, looking around.

"Where am I?" She asked.

"Yesterday my father kidnapped you. When we got there, you two were fighting. he bit you." I explained.

Toni's eyes widen. She looked at herself in the mirror, only she finds that she couldn't see herself.

"What the- oh my God." She whispered.

"I-I- I can't see myself." She said.

"Calm down, babe. It's okay." I said, sitting her back into bed.

"Cher. I'm scared." She cried.

"I know, baby. I know." I said, hugging her cold body close. Guess I'll have to get used to her being cold.

"So-so I'm a full vampire now?" She asked, pulling away.

I nodded, giving her a sad smile.

She sighed, playing with her hands.

"What about you?" She asked. "Are you... Full?" She asked.

"No." I shook my head. She huffed, plumping back into the pillow.

"I will be though. I will don't worry. It will be me and you. Forever." I reassured.

Toni nodded. "Can we go for a run?" she asked. "It'll make me feel better." She nodded.

I smiled, holding my hand out. "Lead the way." I said.

Toni's POV

After our run. Cheryl went home so she can get her mother to change her.

It felt good to be alive even though I don't breathe or sleep anymore. Plus I can't eat I only could feed on things. Which saves a lot of time.

I entered my house to my mother and father running up to hug me.

"Toni!" my mom cried, hugging me tightly. I smiled, hugging her back. Maybe a little too tight.

"Okay. Can't breathe." She wheezed.

"Oh sorry." I said.

"Well, she's a newborn. She's really strong. Stronger than me even." my dad chuckled, patting my back.

"How does it feel?" He asked.

"Okay, I guess. I mean, I'm faster now, stronger. I don't need to stop to take a breather. I don't sleep, which is boring but it's okay." I nodded.

"You'll get used to it." My father nodded.

"Well, I'll be in my room, I don't know. Staring at a wall." I sighed, entered my room.

Cheryl's POV

"Are you sure you want this? Because once it happens there will be no more breathing, no more sleeping, no more warmth." The guy said.

I nodded, "I'm very sure." I said, my heart beating fast.

"Chill that heartbeat of yours." He said, before injecting the needle in me.

Then I blacked out.

"Cher! Cher!" I heard someone calling my name.

"Come on, Honey. It's time to go home." My mother whispered.

I sat up, looking around. "Did it work?" I asked.

"Sure did. Loving the eye color." She smiled.

"Now let's go. Toni's waiting." She said.

I nodded, getting down from the bed.

My senses were shot. I could see, hear, smell, better.

My mom and I walked out of the building, I smiled when I saw my girlfriend leaning against a tree.

"Ohh. You look sexy with that eye color." She smirked, pulling me into a hug.

I smiled, squeezing her tight as she did the same to me.

I turned to my mother. A smile on her face.

"Keep in touch you two, kay?" My mother said, giving me a hug.

"Of course we will. And we'll be back before you know it." Toni said.

Toni and I agreed that after I was changed that we'd travel together. Not too far from Riverdale. But far enough.

"Love you, mom! Tell Jason I'll call him." I told her.

"Kay. Love you more." She called back as she sped out into the darkness.

"Ready?" She asked, holding her hand out.

"Ha, as I'll ever be." I smirked.

With that we sped off into the darkness, hand-in-hand.
