it was nearing four o'clock as i reached the coffee shop. i walked in and went to the cashier.

"are you sunwoo?" they ask and i nod.

"hak—i mean, the person you're looking for wanted me to tell you that whatever you buy, he's gonna pay for it."

i frowned.

"can i just get a caramel macchiato with a little bit of whip cream and chocolate cake, please?"

the cashier nodded and went to make my order. i sat at a high table by the window. i thought they would've been here.

wait. the cashier did say that they were a he when he told me about it. so it's a guy, that's great! i have to tell kevin. hopefully he's okay by now.
