Chapter 19

I was laying in bed crying. I don't even know why I was crying.
Maybe because your boyfriend of two years dumped you.

Oh yeah that's why.

It wasn't long before Cameron came charging in.

"Khelani."

I didn't answer. My sobs were enough to make him know where I was.

Cameron spent most of the time just watching me.

It was weird but I didn't really mind. He wasn't pitying me or criticizing what I was doing.

He was comforting me.
Was. He was comforting.

When Cameron barged into my room without knocking he sat and hugged me while I cried for a good hour or so.

He then took my phone and called Liz to tell her what happened cause i didn't have to energy to do anything but eat.
Anyway Liz already knew and was getting ready to come over.

Cameron then called up 123 Pizza and told me to place my order and he'll pay.

I ordered 3 extra large cheese, 4 large cheese and 6 regular cheese with extra cheese.

I love my cheese pizzas.

I was on my fifth box regular cheese with extra cheese when Liz barged in.

"Oh god." She said when she saw me.

But I didn't care. I just wanted pizzas. They never leave me.

Liz spent the night with me binge watching FRIENDS and eating pizzas.

It was 6 in the morning before we went to bed.
I miss my best friend.

My phone went off continously and woke us.

'Hello.' My voice wasn't raspy. But it wasnt smooth.

'Hey cupcake.'

Dad. Oh I missed you.

'How you holding up?'

'I'm doing alright dad.'

'Alright. Good. Remember I'm picking you up this weekend and our Christmas traditions shall begin.'

I smiled. It was a genuine smile. I love our Christmas traditions.

'I remember. Bye dad. Love you.'

'Bye cupcake. Love you too.'

I can't tell when last I and a nice conversation with dad.
But I was going home this weekend.
It was no problem.

I really can't believe a semester has already ended.

It was really eventful.

My boyfriend dumped me.
My mother popped up again.
Cameron is a hottie.
I made a new friend.
And Liz is still in my life.

I moved from my spot and went to have a shower.
Let's not look like a zombie right. Let's look hot.

I had no class today so let's go shopping. Liz was already gone by the time I was done showering.
She had class. Unfortunately.

I dressed myself.
Took out a white hoodie tank top. A black shorts. And my black and white vans.
I was ready.

Moving up and moving on.

I walked towards my car in the parking lot. Wasn't a big car. A nice black Porsche. Small and cute.

I was going shopping.

Two and half hours later I was carrying atleast 25 bags back to the dorms.

Blouses. Dresses. Jeans. Shorts. Shoes. Underwears. Bras. Bags. I felt like I brought the entire mall.

And also two boxes of pizza.

When I got back to my room, Cameron was on my bed. Waiting.

"We going to movies."

"When? Now?"

"No tomorrow. Of course now Khelani."

"But I just got back I'm tired."

"Put the bags down and let's go."

I sighed. I just bought pizza. I was starving and tired.

"You can bring a box of your pizza."

I squealed and grabbed a box, turned on my heel and walk out the room.
Cameron laughed and walked out behind me.

I was curious to why we were suddenly going to the movies. So I asked him.

"Why are we going to the movies?" I reached for a slice of pizza but I was all out.
Yes I finished an entire box of large pizza. Don't judge me.

"I want you to meet someone."

"To meet who?"

He pulled into the parking lot of the movie theatre.

"My girlfriend."

Oh snap. He had a girlfriend. I was shocked but I expected it.
I couldn't say anything. I was dumbfounded.
I stayed silent.

We walked until we reach the entrance of the theatre.
Two persons were standing there.

A girl who looks taller than me with extremely blonde hair close to white. And another guy.

We walked towards them. Before we got to them the guy moved off to answer his phone.
Okay. Alright. I see you.

"You must be Khelani." The white haired girl said to me.

"Yes I am."

"Nice meeting you, I'm Alexis." She smiled. It was a fake.
Whore I said in my head.

She look to her left and saw the guy coming back up.

"Oh and that's my brother-"

"Alec."
