(Deity! Law X Reader) You thought you were going to be dead for sure, but instead you come face to face with the renowned sea deity of your people.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What the green alas is this?"

Not knowing how to respond to the Deity's anger, you turned your head to the muddied sand clinging to your sore body.

"I- I don't know what you mean sir?" You didn't know how to speak to a Deity, were you supposed to address him in a certain way? Were you unknowingly insulting him?

"I mean-" suddenly there was a harsh tug on your chains, and when you looked down to your feet, you saw the Deity give the binds there a good glare.

"What is the meaning of this?" Tugging at the chains with a long, curved sword, you momentarily zoomed in on the small charm affixed to the hilt.

It was a small talisman, bearing the symbols of the polar bear and snow leopard, both considered sacred animals to a certain God by your people.

"Are you Trafalgar of The Tides?"

The Deity didn't give any indications to acknowledging your question, but continued to tug at the chains shackling your legs, almost with a clear, obsessive distaste.

"Wherefore art thee shackl'd to this stone?" Now circling around the boulder attached to your chains, the Deity hovered over it as if troubled.

Turning your face up to the distant surface, you strained your eyes to catch the sparkling of the sun, just barely shimmering against the waves rolling above your head.

The waters around the strange bubble you were sheltered in were just as dark, and trying to peer through the bottomless abyss only frightened you whenever a shadow danced across your peripheral vision.

You decided to solely focus on a wet sand stain in your sea soaked gown.

Finally, the God's question came back to you, and you paused for a moment, trying to think back to how the village elder addressed this certain Deity during ceremonies, "I.. I am a sacrifice O' Mighty one, for the tides"

The Deity's face was firm, stuck in what looked like a permanent scowl as he brushed a hand over the stone.

His eyes were meticulously reading the holy language inscribed on it, and his eyes grew darker and deeper with every verse.

"Sacrifice..? Is this the barbarism they all has't succumb'd to?"

Suddenly, the God reached out in one smooth motion, and to your astonishment, the chains and the rock itself were snapped into pieces.

Recoiling upon instinct, you felt the places where the chains bound you sing with agony as blood flowed through them freely once more, your body was cold in contrast to the fire relit in your veins, and you barely felt alive.

In fact, the ocean seemed to have been more lively then you.

Like the bubble felt the Deity's rage, it trembled like the waves, warping and shifting in a crass and clumsy manner, splashing choppily as if the winds were shoving them together.

"So those beasts wanteth me to rest're their tides?" Unsheathing his sword, the blade seemed to have growled to its master, thrumming for the taste of blood.

"Who is't am I to deny those folk of their desires? I'll giveth those beasts a tide so stout they shall drowneth in it"

Finally, your cold, quivering body came to life at his declaration, knowing exactly what he was planning to do.
