"mina~" she heard his voice again and felt happy
"hi seung-" she was cut off by a female voice yelling
"SEUNGMIN PUT US IN FRAME" yeji yelled
"so needy" he repositioned his phone and the 9 members of their friend group were there, along with hyori.
"ugh you're all there without us rude" mina scoffed jokingly
"not our fault you live in Australia"
"is that my boy renjun i hear" felix suddenly buds in
mina gasps and turns the phone towards him
"LOOK AT LIXIE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND" felixs face flushes red and ava hides in his shirt.
"AWE" they all yelled from the other side
"wait whose house are you guys at" she asked
"hyunjin and yejis, our parents didn't even let us go home first because they wanted to hang out" jieun giggled
"i kinda miss my brother though" she added

we kept talking and then all their parents walked in.
"are you guys talking with the lee twins?" hyunjin and yejis mom asked.
"yeah wh-"
"can you kids get your parents, i want to chat for a while" the older lady smiled at mina, mina felix and ava walked downstairs
"hey mom mrs. hwang wants to talk to you"
the parents were excited and all of a sudden seungmins phone and minas were taken and the parents are talking.
"so miyoung, when are you guys coming to visit?"
"probably for christmas" mina whined
"can't we go sooner"

eventually mina got her phone back and the three talked with the others until everyone left.
"okay mina I'll call you back when i get home" she smiled and ended the call
she looked over and ava and felix had fallen asleep in each others arms.

mina walked across the connected bathroom, closing Felix's door behind her and flopped onto her bed.
they still had 1 week before their last year of high school started so she can enjoy it how she wants.
mina felt herself staring at the ceiling. she grabbed her phone and stared at the photo of her and seungmin that set as her lockscreen. it was from the scavenger hunt, she had cropped the others out and zoomed in on the both of them. the way they looked at each other fully in love even if they weren't dating at that point.
