Elijah followed Liliana, walking by her side as she showed him around Haven, as she pointed out the Blacksmiths and the Apothecary area. Liliana had also told Elijah about the Herald whose real name is Syllia Lavellan, she came from a Dalish camp to spy in the Conclave until everything had happened. They had also caught up on what they had been up to since the Archdemon had been defeated.

"You need to let Alistair and Rosaline know; we didn't know what to think when you disappeared" Elijah sighed looking down slightly.

"I don't think they would still be worried about me, how could they? I'm the son of the god of demons" Liliana stopped suddenly grabbing Elijah by his arm.

"You don't honestly think that do you?" Elijah didn't answer instead he looked ahead and carried on walking trying to change the subject.

"So, who is this Dorian who you want me to protect?" Liliana sighed shaking her head at Elijah's evasiveness.

"His name is Dorian Pavus, he's a mage from Tevintar. He's here to help us take back the mages from a Magister from Tevintar" Liliana led Elijah to the Chantry where a group of hooded men stood. "This is the group you will be travelling with; men this is Elijah he will be going with you to make sure you all get there safely" The agents eyed Elijah distrustfully some even glaring at him Elijah simply gave them a polite nod. "Where's Dorian? You all need to leave now if you're going to get there on time" As the men looked between each other not answering another voice spoke up.

"Here I am sorry I'm late" Elijah looked up to see a tall, well-built man, who must have been Dorian. He was tanned and had armour on but the armour on his right shoulder/arm was made so you could see his bicep. He had light brown eyes and black hair styled upwards he had a moustache and a soul patch beard. Elijah couldn't help but stare a light blush covering his cheeks, when Dorian noticed Elijah he couldn't help but smirk.

"Your quite small for a Qunari aren't you?" The blush increased from the slight embarrassment as Elijah noticed how small he was. Dorian having to look down slightly at the Demon prince, Dorian chuckled at how flustered Elijah looked. "I'm only teasing, my name is Dorian but from the how I was the last to arrive you already know my name from Liliana" Elijah managed to gain back his confidence before swapping his staff to his other hand to shake Dorian's only then realising how tightly he had been holding his staff.

"My name is Elijah" Dorian shuck Elijah's hand.

"Now why do I know that name?" Before Elijah could answer a growl announced itself behind Elijah making Dorian let go of Elijah's hand. Bruno was growling at Dorian, but Elijah was surprised that it wasn't a threatening growl but more intrigued. As Bruno walked closer to Dorian, Dorian took two steps back.

"Don't worry he won't hurt you he's just interested" Dorian looked to Elijah and Elijah was surprised when Dorian listened to him and allowed Bruno to step even closer to Dorian sniffing him before nudging him slightly. "Okay, Bruno I get it you like him" Elijah said his eyes glowing making the Agents grip their weapons. But as Bruno was walking back to Elijah, Dorian just looked amazed.

"Amazing! You can communicate with demons" Elijah raised his eyebrow slightly.

"Have you not heard of the Demon Prince?"

"Well yes, but I assumed they were just stories and rumours" Elijah chuckled.

"Well meet the story in person" Dorian's eyes widened slightly but as he opened his mouth Liliana spoke up.

"Look you two can talk about this all you want, but please do it whilst you're on the way to Redcliff castle" Elijah had almost forgotten why he was hear but he quickly nodded to Liliana.

"Of course, sorry Liliana" After Liliana bid Elijah goodbye the group began their journey to Redcliff castle but as they got about an hour away from Haven the Agents turned to Elijah stopping him.

"Look we don't care what Liliana or even the Herald say, you're still a demon spawn" Elijah resisted the urge to roll his eyes hearing this yet again. He heard Bruno behind him growling at the agents.

"What is the holdup back here?" Dorian asked coming back to the group.

"We are already on edge working with a Vint, but we will work with you if we have to, but we are not working with this monster" One of the agents said pointing to Elijah.

"Is there any way I can prove to you I mean you no harm?" The agents looked to each other before one walked up.

"This is the deal; we get to chain your hands then we will not have to have our hands on our swords the entire mission" Elijah bit his tongue when he was close to explaining how he could still use magic with his hands bound.

"You can't be serious!" Elijah looked up surprised that Dorian was speaking up for him.

"It's either that or we leave him here" As Dorian opened his mouth to argue again Elijah raised his hand to stop him.

"It's okay Dorian, thank you for trying though" Dorian now was the one who seemed surprised as Elijah then turned back to the agent. "Very well if that will help ease tensions go ahead" The agent nodded and grabbed a heavy chain wrapping it tightly around Elijah's wrists and hands binding them together a bit too tightly, but Elijah could sense they knew they were too tight. Bruno wanted to attack but Elijah sent calming thoughts to him to make sure he didn't ruin their deal. Once Elijah was bound they carried on walking but now Dorian walked by Elijah's side as they were walking up and down snowy hills the heavy chains making it harder to stay balanced and Bruno couldn't support Elijah every time so whenever he had to Dorian would hold onto Elijah making sure he didn't fall all the way back down the hill they had just climbed up. After a few more hours of walking in silence Dorian turned to Elijah.

"You shouldn't let them walk all over you like that" Elijah turned to Dorian.

"What do you mean?"

"You're literally a Prince of Demons, they shouldn't even think they have the right to bind you up, even if that binding won't work" Elijah sighed.

"I've been around long enough to know that if you just give mortals what they want they will just leave you alone"

"That still doesn't mean you do it" Elijah just looked down letting Dorian's words sink in. For the rest of the journey they spoke of Dorian's past and his family, Elijah learnt that his parents weren't the best. Despite the heavy chains rubbing his hands and wrists raw the pain was numbing as Elijah listened intently at the stories of Tevintar the Dorian happily told to him.
