Emily's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and let them adjust to the light that was shining through the window. When I moved a little, Ali mumbled in her sleep and wrapped her arm around my stomach tighter. I kissed the top of her head as I rubbed my hand down her back. I heard a light knock on her bedroom door before it opened and in walked Mrs. DiLaurentis. Good thing we put on pajamas- I thought. When I was about to wake Alison up Mrs. DiLaurentis put her hand up.

"Let her sleep."

"You're not mad that I'm here?" I asked in a whispered tone and she shook her head.

"No. We'll talk more when she wakes up." She said before she walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

"She's gone." I said as soon as she closed the door.

"How did you know I was awake?" Ali whispered out.

"Your breathing changed." She laughed a little and stretched. I smiled and rose up into a sitting position. I looked over at her as she got out of bed.

"Did you bring a change of clothes over?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"Yeah. In the bag by the chair." I said as I pointed toward the duffle bag on the floor.

"Good. Come on." She said with an outstretched hand. I took her hand and got off of the bed and followed her into the bathroom.

"So do you want to do anything today?" I asked as I pulled my pants up.

"Can we go out for breakfast?" She asked as she put her bra on.

"Of course. Where would you like to go babe?" My eyes traveled down her body as she put her shirt on. She sat down at her vanity table and picked up her hair brush and started brushing her hair.

"Apple Rose Grille."

"Yeah. I miss their crepes." She smiled a little before she put on a little lipstick and got up from the chair. "Are you ready to go?" I asked and she nodded her head before she grabbed her cell phone and purse. She closed her bedroom door when we walked out.

"Alison?" We heard Mrs. DiLaurentis called out when we got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Yes Mom?"

"Could you two come here for a minute?" We walked into the living room where she was sitting on the couch and watching one of her shows.

"Yes?" Ali asked and she turned her head.

"Oh, you two look nice. Going somewhere?"

"Yeah, we're going to Apple Rose for breakfast." Ali answered as she glanced up at me.

"Aw that's nice. Well I won't keep y'all. I just wanted to say that I know you're upset about your father's decision about moving to California, but I just wanted you to know that I'm against it also. I will take up for him and say that I know the last thing he wanted to do was separate you  two away from each other." I looked down at Ali and noticed her bottom lip quivering a little. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and squeezed her arm. After she didn't say anything I cleared my throat a little before speaking.

"I think we should go before we miss breakfast." Mrs. DiLaurentis smiled and nodded her head.

"Yeah." We walked toward the front door. "And Emily..." I turned around and looked at her.

"Yes Mrs. DiLaurentis?"

"You don't have to climb up to the second floor to come through Ali's bedroom window. You can just come through the front door." She said before she smirked and turned her attention back to the TV. Ali must have noticed the shock that was displayed across my face because pulled me out of the house laughing a little.

I parked the car and got out and walked over to Ali's side, opening the door for her.

"Thanks baby." She said smiling.

"You're welcome." I opened the door to the restaurant and let her walk in first.  We sat a table by the window. 

"Hello, what would you like to order?" The waitress asked while she pulled her pen out of her uniform.

"Three strawberry and banana crepes with Nutella and whipped cream. Four strips of bacon and scrambled eggs." I said as I looked at my phone. "What's so funny?" I asked as I heard ali giggle.

"Nothing babe."

"And what would you like?" The waitress asked Ali.

"Hmm, I want two chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and some Bacon please." She said before she handed the menu to her. I put my phone on the table as we started talking.

"After this do you want to go shopping?" I said as I looked over at her.

"Did some new shoes come out that I don't know about?" She asked with a smirk on her face. I couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, but I also would like to buy you some things."

"Okay. I also want to tell the girls about me leaving today."

"Hanna too?" I asked and was shocked when she nodded her head. 

"Yeah. Spencer already knows. I'm sorry that I told her first but I was..."

"It's okay Als. She's your cousin so it was kind of obvious  that you told her first." I smiled at her and she reached over and took my hand in hers. After awhile the waitress came back and sat our plates down in front of us.

"Enjoy your breakfast." 

"Thank you." Ali said before she picked up her fork. The waitress smiled and said you're welcome  before walking away. I stood up from my seat and grabbed my plate off of the table. Ali looked at me with a confused look on her face.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I moved my chair over beside her and sat down next to her.

"Nothing's wrong. I just wanted to be next to you." I said before I kissed her cheek. She smiled and grabbed my chin and turned my face to hers before kissing me on the lips.

"Okay, let's eat." She said when she pulled away from the kiss. I smiled and took a crepe off of my plate and put it on her plate. She glanced over at me and smiled.

"What..."

"I just didn't want you to reach into my plate while I'm eating." I said before I started eating my eggs. I don't know why I tried to give her a warning because she still reached over and got some of MY eggs, but she made up for it when she fed me some of her pancakes. After we were done eating, I got up and went to go pay the bill while Ali went to the restroom. I left a tip for the waitress before Ali came out of the restroom and walked over to me.

"Ready?" I asked and she nodded her head and grabbed my hand as we walked out of the doors.
