Languor || Zhong Chenle

Morning

After a few minutes. Chenle let out a big gasp. He detaches himself from me.

Chenle looks visibly shocked and angry.

"Get out," he said with such a cold tone.

His eyes are back to normal.

"I said get out!" He snapped at me.

He pushed my shoulder that he cried on earlier. Pain stung my shoulders after.

I walk out quickly from his room. Leaving him behind.

That 'person' really wasn't Chenle.

Now i know, Chenle have a split conciousness.

My night was restless. For some reason i had kept my guard up all night because of the thoughts that i had already disturbed Chenle.

Its already the morning. The sun is up. Shining the crowded realm with life. The curtain shade the warm glow of the morning.

I look out the window.

The sky is shaded with clouds. The breeze tickles my hair.

The day is annoyingly breathtaking for my trapped self.

I deep in thoughts.

Is this really bad at all?

I don't really have someone to come back to if i run away. My orphanage would gladly whip out the responsibility to pay my school fee.

I remembered my days in the orphanage before moving to the school dorm.

Scornful stares are no longer out of place in that orphanage. The workers would sometimes beat me up secretly because of how timid i was.

I withdraw from my dark ramble down the memory lane.

No.

I don't think i matter to them anymore.

Thanks to the volunteers, the orphanage had send me tp school all these years.

But i think it doesn't matter now because i wouldn't be able to go back.

If i didn't stay here i would've been died.

"Hey, are you going to have a breakfast?"

Haechan is standing outside my room.

"Oh, the clothes are in the shower, Sebastian prepared yesterday" he said after noticing i wear the same clothes as last night.

Not long after, i am done showering.

Haechan appeared again after knocking a few times.

"I assume you don't know the way to the dining room, so..." he said without sounding overly friendly.

"Thanks."

I followed him to the dining room. No one would expect a boy with that face to be going around being a mafia.

"Quick, we need to go to the 127 base," said Renjun with irritation without even greeting me.

"Okay."

"You know, it seems like Renjun have taken a liking to you."

Jaemin sits beside of me, placing a plate of pancakes in front of me.

"Bullshit," Renjun responded quickly.

"He saw your design earlier and his jaw dropped on to the floor after Jeno explained it," said Jaemin while looking smugly at Renjun.

I smile for a bit.

"Don't be so stiff, you will be one of us for the time being, you know?" Haechan talked with his mouth stuffed.

"Did you guys heard something last night?" I asked while trying to be more friendly.

"Oh," Jaemin said while looking flustered.

"Sorry we forgot to warn you, sometimes Chenle have his moments at night."

"Why?" I asked

"I am not allowed to tell you, Xiao Yue, but don't come near him at one of those night"

Well i must say that was very careless of them to forget that. I could have been murdered last night if i didn't rely on ly reflexes and if i didn't have much luck.

I'm not one to complain since i don't think i matter that much to them anyway.

After a quick breakfast, we head to the 127 base that Renjun had mentioned earlier.
