I had a dream last night that I was trapped in a fish tank. I could breathe and everything, but I just couldn't get out. When I looked down I was still human, but I was trapped in this tank no matter how hard I banged against the walls or how much I screamed to let me out; bubbles forming as I screamed but no words coming out. I was helpless, lonely, afraid and no one helped me. No one helped me until it was too late.
The sound of my phone alarm going off annoyed me. How could something so peaceful as the sound of a harp make me so irritated. I let out a deep sigh and placed my right arm over my eyes as if that would help me go back to sleep, but my alarm told me otherwise. Today was the day: first day of my senior year. I was nervous. I had moved over summer break and thought nothing of it but now that the day had arrived I could feel nervous bubbles forming in my stomach.
