IN ENGLISH CLASS, BABY WAS BUSY gossiping with Manny, whom Emma and her had both forgiven. Just as class began, Emma walked in and sat next to the two girls.
"Today we start with one of Shakespeare's most quotable plays, Julius Caesar. Who can speak to his themes? Sean?" Mrs. Kwan asked, taking the boy by surprise
"Huh?" Sean asked, looking up from his desk
"Can you speak to the play's themes?" Mrs. Kwan repeated, "Are they still relevant?"
"Relevant? Shakespeare's some dead old white guy from 500 years ago. What does he know about my life? Nothing." Sean shrugged, lightly laughing
Baby and Emma looked at each other and rolled their eyes. "Okay. Anyone else? Chris." Mrs. Kwan asked the boy
"I loved it. It was all about betrayal, loyalty, power, jealousy." Chris smiled
"Heavy themes." Mrs. Kwan agreed, "I'm glad to see you got something out of the play."
"Well, unlike my man slim shady over there, I actually read it." Chris joked, making the class laugh
Baby noticed Emma laugh and glance over her shoulder at Chris. The blonde smirked and nudged her shoulder
After class, Chris approached the three girls, "Emma, what's up? Hey, Manny and Baby." Baby and Manny smirked at each other, and stood behind Emma and Chris as they walked ahead.
"Chris, I really liked what you said in class today. I never thought of Julius Caesar that way. It was smart." Emma smiled
"Thanks. Uh, Later." He bid goodbye, as he walked into his next class
"Oh Chris Sharpe, I do declare I'm in love with you!" Baby teased Emma as her and Manny caught up with her
"Hey, you know what? I could've sworn I read someone's name on here. Would you look at that? Dj Jacob Sharpe." Manny smiled, before pulling out a flyer for a rave
"Jacob Sharpe?" Emma asked
"Chris' cousin. And I hear he always lets Chris spin a set." Manny teased, making the three girls all smile

"I HAVE NO CHNACE WITH CHRIS. It's like he's on a different planet or something. A cool planet. I'm on planet white dork." Emma complained, as the the girls all got ready at her house for the rave.
She walked out from her mirror, in a super hot outfit. "Not tonight. You look hot." Baby said, while adjusting her own top
"I can't wear this. Everyone is going to stare at me." Emma groaned, looking down at herself
"Including him, and that's good. See you got to do whatever it takes." Manny insisted
