BABY ROBERTS AND MANNY SANTOS sat in Liberty's hot tub, gossiping about all the new high school students. Liberty had invited the girls, as well as JT and Toby over to hang out in her dad's new hot tub.

"Are you sure you're okay, Baby? You seem a little off." Manny asked her friend

"I'm fine. Just frustrated with my moms." Baby easily lied, adjusting her bikini top

"You sure?" She asked, as JT approached the two

She was going to respond, when JT interrupted her, "Take my hand, Baby."

Baby laughed lightly at the boy's behavior, before taking the hand he'd reached out into her own, "Now pull." He smirked. She gave him a confused look but pulled anyway, groaning in regret when he farted and started laughing.

Baby snatched her hand away, and watched Manny glare at him. "I could not resist. Agh! That was a classic." He cheered, walking over to Toby

"Classically gross." Baby mumbled, making Manny giggle

Liberty made her way back outside, drinks in hand for the three girl. JT attempted to take one, but she swatted his hand away.

Sitting down on the side of the hot tub, she handed one to Manny and Baby. "Thanks. So you're sure your dad won't mind us using his hot tub like this?" The pink haired girl asked, while playing with the straw in the cup

"Sometimes, Baby, you just have to say what the  heck." Liberty replied, making the girl smile

"You know who loves hot tubs? Emma Nelson." Manny commented

Liberty was still offended by what Emma had said, as Manny had told her about it, and Baby couldn't help but agree with her. It was rude and totally uncalled for, "No. Emma lives for stabbing you in the back, ripping out your heart, and stomping it bloodless with her pointy ballerina feet."

Manny and Baby laughed before raising their glasses, "To tenth grade."

The girl looked over to where the boys sat, watching JT smack Toby's head in a childish way. Baby thought it was a bit funny, but Manny seemed to think otherwise.

"We're gonna be sixteen this year." The Roberts girl spoke, thinking about how she'd finally be able to drive

"To the future. Growing up and to leaving childish things behind." Liberty toasted

"To leaving childish things behind." Manny repeated, giving her firmed a look before glancing at JT. Baby knew she thought he was being childish, but she just ignored it and sipped at her drink.

"Daniel Van Zandt! That's mom's ironing board." Liberty yelled, when her brother walked outside and set up the ironing board in front of the hot tub

"It was. Now, it's a diving board." He said, "You gotta think outside the box."

JT climbed on top of the home-made diving board, clearing his throat, "Now, diving for Canada, in the sexy red trunks, James Tiberius Yorke!"
