Evil Admirers (OoO) Part 2

Brandeen's POV:

At the end of the day I ignored the feeling that was bothering me all day and decide that since the day was still young, I thought it was a good day to try to win Bryan's affection. I start off by subtly flirting with him. But that was terrible since I am no son of Aphrodite. But I still spend the whole day with him without Daveed interrupting once. He could tell I was flirting with him, I knew that, he was just playing hard to get, cause he's that kind of prick. But I love him for it. It's already past sunset and I have yet to confess. Right now though, we're sitting on the same balcony from earlier just talking and messing with each other.

"And so I said to him,'Doesn't seem like you can do much better!' Hahaha!" He laughed that beautiful laugh. And I laughed along with him. I smiled at him. I loved these moments when we're not scheming and plotting but just taking some time to talk with each other. Wow I sound sooo cheesy. I realize. I also realize I've been staying at Bryan for too long and he was looking back at me, smirking. "See something you like~?" He asked sweetly. I snap out of it and turn away to look at the sky instead. I'm sure that I'm turning red from embarrassment.

He laughs and looks towards the sky as well. "Anyways," I start the conversation again with a new plan, "you know Bryan I just can't see it."

He looks at me confused as all Tartarus. "Can't see what?"

"I can't see why the ice princess didn't want to be with you the moment he saw you."

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"

"I just can't see what he didn't see in you. You were just giving him an easy chance but no, he turned you away. And yet you're here." With me I couldn't help but add mentally. I said this all as nonchalantly as I could when inside, my heart was beating faster than the hooves of a race horse.

Bryan seem to be taken pretty off guard by what I said and I almost want to take it back when he asks me, "Would you?"

I'm silent. How does one respond to that?! I'm frozen for a moment before I get out a "Wha-?"

"Would you, turn me away?" I had to think for a second. Do I say yes? What if he rejects me? I'm just gonna have to be truthful here, I can't hide it any longer. I muscle up the courage and turn to him fully. Time to confess.

"No. I wouldn't." He stared back at me with those amazing eyes that will peirce any soul. "Because you are too beautiful to turn away. You are too strong and intelligent and malevolent to let me pass by. Bryan I... I think I'm in love with you." He stares at me with wide eyes for a second and I take another chance. I bring myself closer to him and place my hand on his cheek while the other arm wraps around waist. I look at his lips then his eyes.

He seems shocked for a moment before he smirks. "I was wondering when you would tell me." He then connects our lips for me and I swear my heart exploded. He tasted so sweet and his lips were so full that I thought I was kissing candy. I feel his arms snake up and around my neck as I close my eyes. We stay like this for as long as we can before air became a necessity again. When I opened my eyes I thought I would wake up and this so would have been a dream but no, it was real. I'm my arms was a prince, an evil prince in dire need of a suitor, and here I am. He leaned against me and sighed in content as I turned back towards the ocean and the sky. I would ask if he considered us a couple now but I didn't want to disrupt this moment. We stayed like this for awhile longer until I feel Bryan fall asleep curled up against me. I consider taking him to his room but, nah, I didn't want to wake the prince. Sleep can wait.
