Eclipse Chapter 6

Days pass by and my parents mostly spend their time either preparing for the wedding or talking about the merge between companies non of them seem to notice my displease at them . My mother inform me about the date of the marriage saying I have to come with her to choose a wedding gown since it can't be done with out me . I was currently heading to my next classes when I heard the students talking loudly gathering over the notice board . Must be the exam date I groan and went there to look . My eyes went wide realizing the exam date is same as the marriage date . Is it possible to be more unlucky than this . I cursed silently and drag my legs to the next class thinking a way to solve this.

Universities wouldn't change exams just because on of unlucky student has to get married now do they? so the only possible thing is changing the marriage date but of course non of my parents would mind my exam they will simply say not to go . Taking jaebum's number from my mother's phone I text him saying I want to meet him.

I waited and wait but he didn't replied me back . Of course he wouldn't what am I thinking . So in the end I gave up and went to sleep .

I woke up middle in the of night to a vibration only to notice that my phone is ringing I answered it with out looking at the ID of the caller

Hello who is this ? I ask with my half sleepy voice

Yoojin? Is that you? male voice replied and it only takes few seconds for me to notice that it's jaebum . Checking the ID to be sure I replied quickly

Yes it's me ! Did you get my msg

Yes I did what is it, what do you want to discuss ? He ask me right away

Knowing him it will be hard to make him agree to change the dates even if I talk to him on person so I decide to not to tell him on phone .

It's something I want to discuss on person so please can we meet tomorrow?

I ask hoping he wouldn't say no .

I got a text when I'm in the class and I check my phone to see the msg I waited for

I check the time and now it's 2:45 and my classes won't be end till 3:30 great . I waited till the lecture walk out of the door and began to run to the cafe . I was out of my breath when I reach the cafe . I fix my hair and open the door hoping he hasn't left . I notice him sitting on the middle table checking his phone . It's same as we met there first day . Other than the owner and the workers we are the only people in the cafe . Looks like he doesn't like crowded places . I quietly walk to him and sit down.

He look up at me with same cold eyes and glare at me probably for being late.

"You are late again ! I was about to leave" liar! I literally rolled my eyes at him

"well had classes "

"fine what do you want to talk about"

"it's about the date of marriage " I said looking down hoping he wouldn't reject me before I could even explain .

"what about it" he ask frowning his eyebrows

"well can't we adjust the date like post pond it at least for two days later"

I asked hopefully

"why is that" he asked me

"well I have an important exam on that date and as you know it can't be change so I was hoping whether we can change the dates of marriage"

"we can't change the dates yoojing this marriage may be not important to you but it is to me, it's not only about getting married but also about our companies to merge together so there is no way I'm gonna change that date " he stated casually like he has been practicing to reject me.

I just look at him with unbelievable eyes .well what about me then isn't my life important to any of them

"but what about my exam then you promised me that I will continue my studies no matter what "

"yes I did and maybe you don't remember it correctly but I said after the marriage that I will let you continue your studies . We are not married yet so discuss this with your parents " he said smirking at me

Wicked man! If my parents can solve this I won't come to him. He knows it yet Ugh !! I seriously want to slap this man and wipe his smirk right away.

"They will if you didn't have the fully control over this. If it not for your doings my father won't even let a man like you to marry me" I said glaring at him.

"you think I'm the bad guy here huh. If your father loves you that much then why he agree to this marriage so easily wouldn't it better to be bankrupt than given up on his daughter's happiness and you think I'm the one propose this marriage first huh go and ask your father before accusing me for things" he growled at me.

Well I need a come back I won't let him go easily after insulting my parents

"well probably because you are so desperate to get married to me" I spat at him without thinking twice . His face darken ops!! bad idea . Now I regret coming to meet him at the first place.

"you don't get to talk to me like that you understand and you think you are great that any man will agree to marry you huh is that what's on your little mind huh" Hey I didn't said that

"if it not for the company I wouldn't even notice you . There would be hundreds girls out there for me to marry if I want to and you would not even stand a chance get that into your arrogant mind ." ouch That's hurt

I look down unable to meet his glaring eyes . He embarrass me. I hate him

"nothing gonna change about the marriage keep that on your mind" with that he left . I feel like crying he literally compared me with other chicks who would do anything for the money .Is that how his senses work just because I choose to be simple doesn't mean he can look down on me . IDIOT !
