Chapter 9

I walk up to feeling numb and familiar scent in my room hit me softly I can’t even remember getting in to bed last night . Last thing I remember is falling sleep in jaebum’s car. Ah right !!
“oh when did you wake up ” my mom come to my room
“just now ...I don’t feel very good” I said while getting up
“last night jaebum drove you here and  help me to put you to bed.... He looked guilty and even apologized for taking you with him when you are sick “ she said while giving me a glass of water . Well He should be it’s his fault that I can’t even move a musc.
“He is a good man yoojin even though he looks stern.. you should understand him more” she said and I look at her annoyingly How can my own mom say that . There is nothing good about him. Didn’t she know he is marrying me for dad’s company .
“I don’t know mom “ I said while weakly going to the bathroom .
“Take a wash I will bring you something to eat and then you should take medicine “ she said before I close the door

I spent most of the day laying on bed doing nothing . I was feeling way better than I did in the morning . I take my phone to check notifications since I didn’t get to go to the uni . There are load of msg in a group chat of our complaining about up coming exams I got curious since we never once to chat for too long since most of our students prefer studies over that so there must be something wrong and I was right exam dates has been change and it didn’t post pond but new date set three days earlier than the originals. Every one of them is complaining about it claiming that they need more time to prepared I roll my eyes it doesn’t matter we should be prepared for exams even before the date that’s how it always works . But I wonder why they  change the dates suddenly until I realized something .if the dates are changed they I do not have to worry about cancelling it anymore . It ‘ s a relief that I don’t have to cancel it for that stupid marriage but in the end I will be married to someone I barely know . I let out a sigh I have to work harder  for exams since I only have few  days left.

Past few days went like crazy after gaining my energy I spent most of time preparing for my exams and surprisingly no one bother me about the marriage and I didn’t get to hear about jaebum too. The last time I met him was that night I wonder what is he up to now . Didn’t he wants to bother me about marriage and show off who is the boss like he always did duhhhh !!! I hate him . I snap out of my thoughts and focus more on my notes trying to absorb more and more
I did pretty good in exam considering wasting my times for being sick and overly thinking about an unwanted marriage .this is my only escape something they cannot take away from me . I snap out of my trance to mere image of someone looks like jaebum waiting near the gates  .I look again and again to be sure whether I finally lost my sanity or not.but to my dismay there he is looking handsome in his suit and slightly styled hair and leaning against his car if I don’t know about his personality  I will be fooled by his looks .What the hell is he doing here . He was looking his phone and didn’t notice me yet maybe I can slip past him and he wouldn’t even notice right . I untie my hair from a ponytail and let it down covering half of my face and walk along with a student  ‘he makes me do the stupidest things ever’ I was right he didn’t even notice me I get to pass the gates successfully and hurriedly get on to the bus and take a seat immediately . Ha!! Did he really think I will willingly come with him fool . I smirk to my self feeling proud of my escape even though it was nothing until my phone start to ring loudly . I check caller ID to only to realize that it was Jaebum . I ignore it but it keep ringing making me annoying  . I answer his call
“what”
“get off" 
wait how did he knew I look at the window only to realize a black car driving along with the bus . I couldn’t really see the driver but I have a strong guess
“well I’m in a moving bus so sorry I can’t “ I said smirking out if the window
“you can get off from next stop”
“well I will get off when I want to you can drive anywhere you want “
“ get off from the next stop if you don’t want me to stop the bus and drag you out of it” he said with a calm but stern voice
“you can’t do that” I said almost yelling this man can’t be serious
“oh try me” he said letting out a chuckle ,I can literally see his stupid smirk from his tone. I look around there are lot of faces I get to see every day at uni . If he really tried something funny I won’t be able to face anyone anymore
“FINE!!!” I yelled  to the phone and shove it to my pocket
I did exactly what he asked and get in to his car without a word
“don’t pull that face to me I never knew you were this childish “ he said looking ahead of the road . Did he just call me childish
“well I’m sorry that you have to put up with a childish women “ I said with a scoff
He ignore me and kept driving to god no where until I decide to ask
“where are we even going”
“we are going on a date” he said as it’s the most natural  thing in the world
“well excuse me who said I 'm going on a DATE with you I don’t want to” I said glaring at him
“well your mom ask me since her daughter was stressed with the exams and it would be perfect for us to get to know each other more “ he said
“well I would prefer  staying at home and take a good rest than this and I was literally stepping out from the exam hall how could you take me on a date like that “ I roll my eyes at him
“does that mean you would dress up for me if we go on  another day “
That’s not I mean !” I look at him with are-you-kidding-me look
“this is the only time I can be free so deal with it” well I’m dealing with lot of things when it’s comes to this man anyway
“you haven’t had your lunch yet right” he said looking at me
I am pretty hungry actually so why not get over with this
“nope so lunch and we will be over with so called date“
“fine”
He drove to a nice restaurant and let me order anything I want and we start to eat in such a uncomfortable silence . He didn’t talk to me and keep looking at his plate while I did the same . Nice bonding time !!. It’s really uncomfortable since he can even hear my gulping sounds . The  place isn’t crowded and he made a reservation so there is nothing to disturb us . We successfully end it with a perfect silence and take our leave immediately . “I have a meeting to attend so I don’t have enough time to go somewhere else and I’m taking you home is that okay?” he ask while looking at me unsure
“It’s fine I can take a taxi if you want “
“no I will drive you home” he said almost immediately I just nod at him and look out of the window . There  is nothing for us to be bond we are practically different from each other maybe my mother should know it
He take me home and I ask him whether he wants to come inside knowing very well he didn't  have time for that . Heheh evil me he said nothing but shake his head little and drove off after letting out a simple goodbye
