I wake up. HAIR TIME. I need to get dressed for today. The school is closed because of staff meetings so luckily I get a day off. I smile. A yellow top, jeans, boots. I put my hair in a ponytail and just put mascara on. Too lazy for anything else. I go down and have french toast.
I go to the hairdressers and they begin the job. Once we're finished it's time to go home. I walk home when someone calls my name. "Hey Jade!" said Zed. I wave. "Hey Zed" said Jade. "I almost didn't recognize you" said Zed. "Yeah I got my hair done" said Jade. "It suits you" said Zed. "Thanks" said Jade. "We're graduating next week" said Zed. I nod. "Yup. I'm turning 19 a month after" said Jade. I look at him. "What else are you doing today?" asked Zed. "Nothing. I can't use magic, I can't be friends with wolves or zombies but luckily I can hide them. Anyway I should go home" said Jade. Zed nods. "OK well see ya on Monday?" asked Zed. "Yeah" said Jade. I walk away. I want to use magic so much but then the hunters would be able to track it. I go have some lunch and then I go to my room. I lie on my bed and take my boots off. I look at my hands. I need magic but I can't cause of hunters and it's shit. I wish it was different. I stand up and go to my window and sit on the seat beside it. I spot Brynn and Wyatt. They wave at me. I go find my boots and put them on. I put my hair in a ponytail. I go downstairs. "I'm meeting some friends" said Jade. They nod and I walk outside. I walk over and we get in Brynn's car. "I'm getting my hair done." said Brynn. I smile. "What colour?" asked Jade. "No colour, just a cut" said Brynn. "Oh" said Jade. "I can't change this colour for whatever reason" said Brynn. I nod. I sit back and look out the window.
Her hair cut is quick but wow.

"Just a cut" said Brynn. "Nice. It suits you" said Jade. Wyatt kisses her. "You always look beautiful no matter what, baby" said Wyatt. "How sweet" said Brynn. "Does this mean I can get you one mirror?" asked Wyatt. She shakes her head. "No. Two mirrors, Wyatt" said Brynn. I giggle. "You two are so cute" said Jade. I smile at them. We go to a diner and have a nice dinner. I smile at them. "I wish I had a mate" said Jade. "You will when your 19" said Brynn. I nod. "I know but ugh!" said Jade. "It will get better" said Wyatt. I throw a fry at them. They laugh. They walk me home and I go inside.
I go to my room and put on pyjama's. I slide into my bed and smile. Time to sleep.
Everything is fine. Fine and nice and dandy. Sleepy.
