TRD VII

Gale's POV

"What is that father?" I asked father with a confused look. He looked at me as if he was really worried.

"Let's go to my office for now, there, I would explain everything" father said and that really made me confused. Father looked at mother and put up a smile "Come with us wife" father said and went to my mother to assist her.

I'm really worried right now, what ever is happening, it might be really serious.

As soon as we arrived at the office, father closed the windows and the door, leaving two guards outside

Guards usually roam around the Palace to secure our safety.

We sat at the couch, across me, there sat my parents with worry on their faces.

I couldn't contain it anymore so I just asked what was happening. "Father, please do explain why everyone is panicking, why there are guards outside this very room? And what does that box has to do with everything?" I blurted out. I saw my mother cry which was a shock for me

"I'm sorry mother, please don't cry" I apologised. Father looked at me while holding mother's right hand. Father opened the small box and saw a black rose with my picture inside that seems to be stained with blood.

I gulped at what I witnessed and I stood up as a sudden reaction. Shock was evident in my face.

Who would do such a thing!

"A helper found this box while cleaning inside your room, she found it suspicious and she gave it to me directly, we all know that a black rose is a bad omen. It symbolises death." father explained

I calmed myself and sat once again

"So someone has infiltrated the Palace?" I asked. Mother became silent and excused herself, telling us that she's gonna check something.

Father and I were the only ones in the room. It was silent for a moment not until father spoke once again. "I know this is sudden, but you need to leave the kingdom" he said

"What!? But father, if they are after me, won't it be more dangerous if I leave your side?" I asked out of frustration

"Listen sweety, just like what you said awhile ago, someone might actually infiltrated the Palace easily, meaning, it must be someone we actually know inside this castle. It would be a risk if you're near the suspect" he explained

I can't believe this

"Their after me, who is in line for the throne" I said. "That's why you need to hide for now, we must figure out who is behind this message. We just can't ignore such thing" he replied.

"I'll do what I can father" I stated. Father smiled for a second and had a serious face once again.

"I'm so proud of you my daughter. Now here is the plan. I've contacted your uncle awhile ago, he's actually on his way here right now, his plane must had arrived awhile ago, he knows the situation and you'll be going with him back to the Philippines. The enemies won't be able to find you that easily, no one knew that much about my brother so it's safe to say that you won't be found easily there" father paused for a moment after hearing a knock at the door

"Come in" Father stated

Just in, a man, probably in his early 40's just entered and I recognised him right away. I stood up to greet my uncle

"Uncle! It's good to see you" I said as I hugged my only uncle, he looks like dad but a lot manlier

"Hello dear, mabuti naman at maayos ang iyong kalagayan, na balitaan ko ang nangyari" uncle said

I can clearly understand him, being a princess, it is one of my responsibility to know a lot of language and different cultures.

"Brother,you may take a seat and let's discuss what would happen" father said
