Sleep is for smart but I came up with a decent idea

One time when I was supposed to be sleeping I made a VampireHunter!Chosen AU where Chosen was a vampire hunter and he was extremely protective of Second because vampires were always trying to get him ether to kill/turn him into a vampire as revenge or to hold as ransom. But the problem is Second really wants to help Chosen and keeps getting into trouble, and is eventually kidnapped by a vampire.

Anyway, I realized this actually a decent idea for an AU so I'm fleshing it out some

Chosen lives just outside of a village. He is well known due to being a professional at this vampire hunting thing. He only trusts Dark and Second, everyone else is viewed with a "suspicious until proven innocent" mindset. He doesn't have any powers, but is still a force to be reckoned with. He knows how to deal with other monsters, and has fought them on occasion, but mainly sticks to vampires. Since a decent number of werewolves have full control over themselves even when the full moon rises, he has worked with some werewolves other then Dark, but he usually goes to Dark for help

Dark is a werewolf that lives in a forest and has full control over herself when the full moon is out, but still preys on wild animals at night in the night because she can and purposely leaves them where people can see, just to spook them. Chosen hates that she does this, and Dark thinks Chosen is annoying as all get out, but Chosen will bail Dark out if she gets caught, and Dark will help Chosen on his really risky jobs because they both care about each other even if they'd rather die then admit it. The fact that they are siblings is kept under raps so no one targets her, but that means there's a rumor going around that they are lovers

Second lives in the same village Chosen is near. The walk from Chosen's hut to the village is a minute or so long (not even a mile away), so Second and Chosen are very close. Second enjoys drawing scenes from around the village in his free time, and draws a lot of things specifically for Chosen, who values the drawings. Chosen tried to keep their relationship a secret but because Second was born a sort time after Chosen began getting popular, word spread like wildfire. Second will commonly help a werewolf who passes through the village that doesn't cause any problems, because his sister is one and he knows how to help them with werewolf specific problems. Second wants to help Chosen, but doesn't want to become a hunter, it's just not for him

Red is a werewolf that lives in the village were Second lives. She doesn't have control over herself at the full moon, but thankfully she isn't violent in her wolf form. Once, she was kidnapped by a ringmaster named Herobrine, who made her perform as a werewolf at the full moon, but Chosen, Second, and her friends saved her and brought her back. She hasn't been entirely the same after that. She, ironically enough, takes care of the animals

Yellow is a young and brilliant inventor who live in the village (just assume that any village I mention send one with the Second in it unless I specify otherwise). He's shy and talks down on himself a lot, but if you ask him nicely, he'll go on and on about what he's making/will make/has made unless you ask him to stop (which kinda hurts his feelings). He is, like the vast majority of society, horrified of monsters, except for werewolves

Green is a young musician that lives in the village. His parents want him to be a builder, because he's good at that stuff to. He doesn't let anyone know what they say is getting to him, except for Second and Blue who he vents to when they ask him to. He isn't that bright in terms of intelligence, but in optimism he's a sun. He's actually naturally good at a lot of things, which usually puts him in a "I have no idea what I'm doing, but apparently I'm doing it well" position

Blue is a young farmer and is the daughter of merchant who lives in the village. She just wants what's best for everyone regardless of species. She likes board games, which are a kinda rare in that part of kingdom, but her dad is a decently successful merchant so she has a surplus. She's kinda lazy when she isn't farming, and don't want to be a merchant, like her dad, but knows a lot of business strategies she plans to use to sell crops

Purple used to live in village decent number of miles away from the village were almost every else lives and comes from a extremely rich family of merchants. It's a much, much ricer village. One time when Blue brought Green with her on one of her dad's business trips, Purple *did something shady that's not life threatening but I can't think anyone of* too the two and Blue has held a grudge ever since. One thing about Purple's family is that they send all of their kids too a small village so they could learn how to make money. Purple was no exception. So nowhere live in the village almost everyone else lives. He was a bit of a bully at first, but eventually joined the squad (which Blue didn't like)

Vampires are basically just vicious zombies with just enough thought process to blend in with humans, but are irredeemable
