"The" Family argument headcanons because yes (also I'm in no way condoning fighting both physical and mental)
Chosen and Dark
-They argued a lot even before Flashbacks
-Mostly just about small things "Dark! Why are you microwaving tinfoil?!" "To see what will happe- OH HECK!" (they're siblings living together without a parent to keep them in check, what do you expect?)
-Usually make up as soon as the small thing has been dealt with, and went back to business as usual
-But after Flashbacks...
-They rarely speak to each other, even in a redeemed Dark AU
-But when they do get into a fight... oh boy
-It gets extremely heated extremely quickly
-Within a minute they're already yelling
-Both of them hate seeing them like this, but are to bitter or stubborn respectively to try to reconcile
-Everyone else just clears the room when they and tries to distract themselves with something else
-Except for Second
-He leaves the room alright,
-but he can't distract himself
-Even if he's so far away he can't hear them screaming at each other, he can't stop thinking about them. So he just goes to his room and cries
Chosen and Second
-At first glance, the thought of these two getting into arguments seems ridiculous
-But, they do get into arguments a surprising number of times
-Sometimes it's simple brotherly disputes "Did you steal my pencils?!" "Dude why would I steal them?"
-Sometimes it's about the animator
-Chosen will not trust the animator under any circumstance, and genuinely thinks he's trying to gain some sort of advantage over Second
-Second is absolutely positive that the animator is a good person
-When they fight about this, Chosen tries to see any way the animator could be taking advantage of Second and brings it up
-But sometimes they fight about something else
-Sometimes Second calls Chosen out for babying him
-Chosen is a grown adult with a "complicated" past
-And Second hasn't even started puberty yet
-Chosen would logically and reasonably be protective of Second
-But he does take it too far sometimes and will treat Second like a toddler when this start getting dangerous
-Second (who is actually pretty mature for his age) tries to use all his adventures to prove that he can handle himself
-But all Chosen can focus on is how close Second was to dying and it backfires on Second
Dark and Second
-They actually fight the least
-Chosen is older then Dark and used to baby her, so she knows how Second feels
-Don't get me wrong, she's protective of him and helps him when things get dangerous, she's just not overprotective and let's Second handle things himself when he can
-Half of their fights are over normal sibling things "Give that back!" but sometimes Dark just breaks something that Second owns
-The other half of the time it's a bit more angsty
-They're on and adventure and they argue over what to do
-Second doesn't want anyone to get hurt, and wants to forgive anyone who can be forgiven
-Dark on the other hand, wants to blow any enemies up as payback
-Thank goodness Purple got redeemed before Dark, or he probably would've been a tinny tiny bit crippled by the end of AvLoL
