"Woah! Woah! Woah! Marriage?!"

"So you two will sneak into Tsukasa's empire and tell him I went off by myself all broken-hearted and stuff, while Senku and I recruit the caveman for the rebel science army. We'll see each other in a couple of months. No biggy."

You acted casual for approximately ten seconds before you tackled Yuzuriha and Taiju in a bone crushing hug.

"I don't wanna leave you guys! Taiju, you make sure you protect Yuzu at all costs okay? And Yuzu, make sure you look out for this big oaf."

"I'll protect her Y/n. I promise." Taiju returned your hug with a determined smile.

"And I'll look out for Taiju. Your job is to look out for Senku okay? Don't let him get to carried away in his science experiments. And Senku, don't let Y/n run wild. Y/n, don't annoy whoever this poor mysterious person is to much because you don't know if-"

"Okay Mom." You released Taiju to give a solo hug to your best friend. Yuzuriha squealed slightly as you lifted her off the ground, squeezing her as tight as you possibly could without hurting her.

"I love you Yuzuriha."

"I love you too Y/n!"

"I really don't want to leave you! Or Taiju! We only got the gang back together! If it wasn't for Tsukasa and them damn overgrown cats for making us revive him in the first place, we could be living together in peace and harmony! I'm gonna train really hard while Senku works on his science weapons, alright? So when the time comes, I can defeat Tsukasa once and for all. Then, we can all be together again."

You gently placed Yuzuriha on the ground but didn't release her hand. The two of you smiled at each other before sharing a look about the scene in front of you.

"Going forward the two of us will be spies in the Tsukasa empire while you two recruit for the rebel science army. Good luck."

"You too." Senku nodded slightly at his best friend. "Let's go ogre. You're the one who has been wanting to meet the mysterious person the most."

With one last hug shared between you and your best friend, the two of you separated and followed your respective partners.

"God I'll miss those guys." You sniffled.

Senku rolled his eyes. "They aren't dying or moving overseas. They're just infiltrating the Tsukasa empire."

"Do you really think they'll be okay though?" You asked with a hint of worry in your voice. You didn't like being separated from two of the people you had sworn to protect even if it was necessary.

"I wouldn't send them on this mission unless I was absolutely ten billion percent sure. You are the one who would be in the most danger since you're the biggest threat to Tsukasa now since I'm supposedly dead. Let's just hope he buys our story."

Yes. Let's hope Tsukasa buys your heartbroken tale and doesn't come looking for you as an ally for his empire. Since you were exactly the same and all.
