The message had a date and time. Bellini wanted to meet this upcoming Wednesday at a location in the city that was surprisingly close to where he lived. Ricky was ecstatic to finally get some dirt on Mr. Mendova, but feared that after all this time, he might be too late. If he was too late, then what was the point of this meeting? He decided to think about it before replying.

When they landed, they went straight to the resort where Ricky found himself the center of attention as the others barraged him with information on where they wanted to go, what the best places to eat were, and when was the best time to hit the beach.

With so many eyes on him, he tried to listen to them eagerly so as not to bring down the mood with his frayed nerves. The resort they went to appeared similar to a giant glass dome, with multiple buildings inside surrounded by a beautiful garden of exotic plants. There were man made rivers between the buildings, with bridges, walkways and pools. Thanks to the protective dome, the temperature inside was perfect so it was like walking outdoors without dealing with the weather.

He noticed there were quite a few bars and restaurants set up along the walkways. Some of the squat structures were gift shops, some were clothing stores, and some were bakeries. The larger buildings themselves were the hotel rooms.

There were at least three giant pools with two hot tubs. Another two indoor pools were located in the main hotel building, but Thomas insisted the 'outdoor' pools were better since the water was warmer.

It was already late by the time they arrived, so most of the services were shut down and they ended up giving Ricky a brief tour before going up to the room where they showed him a magnificent view of the beach.

The room itself was white with redwood trim. The enormous wooden bed frame had an armed couch at the foot of it, where it faced directly out the window. There was a little dining room with stools and a table, a TV built into the wall, a mini bar with small complimentary bottles of alcohol, and a few more chairs scattered around the room. A wooden chandelier hovered in the center, and there was a sliding glass door that led out to a balcony.

Overall it looked great, but Ricky couldn't help but notice one very important thing. "There's only one bed?"

Damon, unpacking their essentials, looked up. "Actually there are smaller beds through those doors. This is the master room. We usually share it but I figured you might be uncomfortable with that so if you want to use one of the other rooms, they're right through there." He pointed to a door that he had initially mistaken for a closet.

Ricky checked and upon further inspection, there was indeed a smaller room with a bed.

Relieved to have an agreeable accommodation for himself, he turned to find Thomas frowning at a message on his phone. Feeling nosey, he glanced over his shoulder and saw Chris's name.

"Thomas?" He decided to alert the man to his snooping. Luckily the brunette didn't seem to mind.

"Yeah? Sup?"

"Is Chris still texting you?"

Damon and Hector turned their heads, apparently unaware of this. Thomas quickly put his phone away. "Yeah..."

"What's he saying?" He couldn't help but be curious since Damon claimed that Chris had refused to talk after the Spa incident.

"Nothing important."

His unconvincing tone had Damon storming up and holding out his hand. "Let me see."

Thomas flinched, then handed over his phone guiltily. Ricky wondered why that was, then saw Damon frown at the screen. "Is he serious?"
