"Mami!" Camila goes down the stairs happily.
"Yes, mijita?" Sinu comes out of the kitchen.
"I am going out with a friend," She says.
Sinu raises an eyebrow in confusion and walks over to her daughter. They hear a car beep and Camila jumps. "That's him!" Camila says.
Sinu sighs and looks at her daughter. There are so many reasons she doesn't want to tell her daughter that she's actually dating Lauren and the green-eyed girl knows herself.
When both girls met each other for the first time Sinu found out a little thing about Lauren. Lauren came out as a girl yes but she doesn't have the part of a girl. When Camila found out she thought Lauren was a freak and by then Sinu already adored Lauren.
She doesn't want Lauren to relive through that same suffering. Sinu comes back to reality and sees that her daughter already left.

Camila gets in Andrew's car and smiles at the boy. She leans over and kisses his cheek. "Hi, Andrew!" She smiles.
"Hi!" Andrew smiles and pulls out of the driveway.
He starts driving and Camila keeps jumping up and down on her seat. "Where are we going?" She asks.
The sun is starting to set and Andrew keeps driving to his destination. "You'll see Camila!" He smiles.
They drive for a couple more minutes but it felt longer than that. Andrew parks his car on the curb, looking out to the beach.
He gets out and walks to Camila's side helping the smaller girl out. Camila lets Andrew help her out and he opens the trunk. He takes out a basket and smiles at Camila.
"Ready?" He says and she nods.

Lauren gets out of her car and knocks on the door. "Coming!" She hears inside. Once the door opens Sinu smiles.
"Hi, sweetie!" She steps aside and Lauren enters.
"Sinu can we talk please?" Lauren says fidgeting with her friends.
Sinu nods already knowing what this is about. "Come, sweetie, because we do need to talk, " Sinu says.

Camila giggles as she buries her bare feet in the sand. The sun has barely came down a couple of minutes ago and now she's with Andrew, at the beach.
"Camila," Andrew speaks up after putting down the none edible part of the strawberry.
Camila looks up at Andrew and smiles. "Yeah Andrew?" She asks her eyes sparkling.
Andrew takes a deep breath and scoots closer to Camila. "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asks.
Camila tilts her head to the side, "Girlfriend?" She thinks for a while and bites her lower lip, "Together, holding hands?" She asks.
"Yeah," Andrew chews on his lower lip nervously.
Camila smiles and looks up, "Yes!"

Lauren takes the cup of tea Sinu handed to her and sighs. "I think we should tell Camila before anything happens," Lauren says taking a sip of her tea.
"What do you mean?" Sinu asks setting her cup of tea down.
"There's a boy in her class and I believe he wants to date her, I can't lose MY girlfriend," Lauren says.
Sinu stays quiet, thinking it over. "She's not here but when she gets back we can tell her," Sinu says.
"Now I understand if you don't want to tell her yet about..." Lauren said, "But I want her back with me, not with anybody else."
"Mami!" They hear the front door open.
They hear footsteps come into the living room and see a smiling Camila. "Hi mami! Hi Lolo!" She says.
"Hola mija, come sit down," Sinu says.
"I have to tell you something mami," Camila sits next to her mother.
"Tell me," Sinu says.
Lauren takes a sip of her tea and the next thing that came out of Camila's mouth made her drop the cup.
"I have a boyfriend mami!" Camila says happily.
Sinu looks shocked and looks at Lauren. She doesn't even care about the shattered cup, she's concerned for the older girl.
Lauren stands up and holds back tears. She bends down and picks up the broken cup not really wanting to leave with a mess.
She takes the broken glass to the kitchen and sighs. She feels a hand rest on her back, rubbing circles.
"I'm so sorry Lauren," Sinu says.
Lauren takes a deep breath and releases it. "There's nothing we can do," Lauren whispers.
Sinu rubs the girls back, comforting her.
"I should get going," Lauren stands up straight. She wipes a tear that fell and sighs. "Adios Sinu," She hugs the mother.
"Stay safe and don't do anything stupid Lauren," Sinu says hugging her back.
They pull away and Lauren swallows the lump that formed, "I won't."
She walks over to the entrance and sighs. She should say bye to Camila. Lauren debates and let's go of the doorknob.
She walks into the living room and Camila smiles at her. "Come here Camzi," She says.
Camila stands up and hugs Lauren. The green-eyed girl holds onto the brunette for as long as she possibly could.
Camila melts into Lauren's arms and closes her eyes.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" A female voice asks.
Camila smiles, they are in a beach house that overlooks the beach. The moonlight enlightens the dark ocean, calm waves forming.
Camila wraps her arms around the taller girl's neck the light of the flames in the fire pit lighting up the right side of her face.
"I'll love to be your girlfriend," Camila smiles.
The taller girl plants a sweet, chaste kiss on Camila's lips which makes both girls smile.
Camila opens her eyes and looks up at Lauren. She bites her lower lip examining her face. Lauren stands there confused but Camila smiles.
"Bye Lolo!" She chirps.
"Bye Camzi," Lauren tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and smiles.
