Date night!

Shuichi's POV
                Kaede and I were relaxing together in my hotel room since Kaito was over at Maki's. Kaede was listening to music as I was reading my mystery novel, there's something about good mystery novels that could never make me put it down, well aside from the obvious mystery. As I was reading and about to finish a chapter, I could feel something on lay on my chest, I raised my book to see Kaede laying on top of me with a pleading look, I blush at the sight before giving her a grin and fold the page as I placed my book down. I wrapped my arms around her as I pull her in more towards me, I can hear her giggle as she gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"What's wrong Kaede?" I asked her with a smile, she looked back up at me, "I wanna go somewhere together, I really wanna go on another date with you." She told me continuing to give me a pleading look. I smiled back at her as I nodded, "Sounds good! There is this restaurant around here that we could go to." I told her remembering the nice restaurant that we would see whenever we passed by. She smiled brightly as she perked up, "Yay!" She exclaimed giving me kisses on my cheek. I couldn't help but to giggle at how adorable she was, so I did the unexpected and gave her a small kiss on her neck. She looked up at me a dark red and in awe, I quickly realized what I've done and could feel my cheeks burning in embarrassment.

"I-I-I'm so sorry Kaede! I-I wasn't thinking! I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable-" but before I could explain myself she placed her finger on my lips to shush me. I looked back up at her as she looked away a bit before looking back at me, she was still a dark red as she looked at me almost in a pleading way like before. "Sh-Shuichi, you didn't make me uncomfortable...you can do things like that to me..." she told me with a now hushed voice. "Shuichi...c-could you do it again....?" She asked me, I could feel my cheeks heat up more at her request, I couldn't say anything since I was so nervous so I nodded instead. My heart was practically racing as I looked back at her neck, I leaned back onto it as I gave her another peck, this time she made a small noise in response. I pulled myself back up, a bit embarrassed at the small noise she made, but I was more embarrassed about what just happened, not that I mind at all. I'm happy she's trusting me more and more to do these things, I just blush too easily.

"Th-Thank you Shuichi..." she said a bit quietly as she smiled gently at me. "I-It's no problem..." I answered back, she gazed back at me with this look I've never seen before, it was loving, but there also was something else to it, though I'm not sure what it was. She snapped out of her gaze as she sat up and got off energetically, "Well, let's go Shu!" She told me excitedly, I nodded in response and gave her a smile as I got up. I grabbed by shoes and put them on as she did the same. I grabbed my wallet and the keys to my hotel room just in case. We walked out of the door as she patched onto my arm, I smiled as I wrapped mine around hers as we walked out of the hotel and onto the sidewalk. We walked for a bit since it wasn't too far from here as we talked about different things and topics. It's really soothing whenever I talk to her, it feels natural and it makes me in a good mood.

We finally arrived to the restaurant, to be honest, the restaurant was adorable. The seats and chairs looked rustic, there were potted plants that hugs from the walls as their vines gracefully hung above us, there were fairy lights hanging from the ceiling above us. Kaede gasped like a child and happily jumped around, an extremely adorable sight, as one of the waiters sat us down. We looked at the menu for drinks, I just ordered some water as Kaede ordered this soft drink. Her and I continued talking as the waiter left, her and I were discussing what to eat as we looked at the menu. The waiter came back with our drinks, which they were served in these small jars, we ordered our food as the waiter wrote it down. Kaede and I were talking about seemingly everything as we waited, the atmosphere in this restaurant was really nice as it made Kaede and I in a pretty romantic mood.

"Oh Shuichi, I can't wait till we go back, I wanna cuddle with you so badly..." she told me with her usual gentle tone, I smiled at her comment as I nodded, "Don't worry, we definitely will...and I swear I'll give you all of my attention once we go back...." I answered, she smiled even more once I answered "You're going to get showered with my kisses, I'll make sure of it!" She said now in a more determined tone, I laughed a bit at her adorable statement as she grabbed my hand and held it tightly. I raise her hand up with my hand as I gave it a kiss, as I looked back up at her reaction, she was a bright red, she could put tomato's to shame. I laugh a bit as she laughed along with her but still kept a tight grip on my hand. We continued talking till the aroma of food filled the air, the waiter bought our food as they placed it down gently. We ate our food with eagerness as it smelled and looked amazing, we continued eating till we were full, I paid for the check despite Kaede telling me that she'll pay and we went back to our hotel and into my room.

I went back and flopped on my bed since I was so full and Kaede joined on top of me, I wrapped my arms around her pulling her close to me as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Just as she promised she showered me with kisses all over my cheeks, nose, forehead, and on my lips, I couldn't help but to giggle a bit once she gave me them loving all of the affection she was giving me. "Hey Shu...?" She asked me, I looked down at her, she seemed nervous or maybe even embarrassed, "Yes?" I answered, she looked up at me with her gorgeous light purple eyes as her face was red, "C-Could we sleep together...? And maybe switch Kaito and I?" She asked me, I was stunned at her question, it sounded wrong in context but I understood what she meant. I could feel my face heat up as I nodded in reply. Once she saw me nod her face lit up, "Wait really?! Yes! I wanna sleep in your arms Shu! Plus I'm pretty sure he's going to spend the night with Maki if you know what I mean..." she answered, I laughed at her adorable reaction before understanding what she meant, "I'm going to go get my pajamas!" She told me as she got up and raced over and out the door.

It took a couple of moments before she ran back and into my bathroom, "I'm going to go change in your bathroom!" She told me as she closed the bathroom door behind her, speaking of which I should put mine on since she was in the bathroom, I took off my regular clothes and changed into a comfy shirt and pants, once I flopped on the bed once more she got out. She was wearing a white tank top and some light pink shorts with white stripes on it, it was a bit revealing to say the least as I could feel my face burn up once again. She giggled as she ran over and pounced on top of me, I groan a bit in response but I wrap my arms around her like before and pull her onto me, she gave me more kisses on my cheeks as I ran my fingers through her soft blonde hair, she purred a bit in response as she leaned closer to my hand, I continued as she leaned into it till my hand reached her cheek as I caressed her cheek,she turned more to it so she would kiss the palm of my hand. I gave at her lovingly as she returned the gaze back, she yawned a bit indicating that it was time for us to go to bed. She laid her head on my chest as I turned off the light on the lamp next to me. I pull the covers on top on us as I gave her another kiss on her forehead, I was now feeling a bit tired as my eyelids grow heavy, even in the dark I could see her looking up at me, "Good night Shuichi...I love you..." she told her in her gentle voice, I smiled in response, "I love you too my sweetheart..." I told her before I drifted off.
