"Maya honey!" Mayas mom called from outside her bedroom door, opening it softly. Maya sat up from her place on the bed, rubbing her eyes tiredly "happy birthday sweetie! My baby girl is finally 18!" She hugged the blonde
"Thanks mom" maya smiled, wrapping her arms round her mom "happy birthday, kiddo!" Shawn came into the room cheerily. Maya thanked him too, watching as they left through the bedroom door to make breakfast
She stood up from her bed, checking her phone as she walked over to the bathroom to have a shower. She smiled as she saw a few messages pour in,

Her heart melted slightly, locking her phone and getting in the shower, washing her body and getting dressed for the day. She chose to wear black jeans with a black corset top, a furry jacket over the top with her classic heeled boots
She emerged from her bedroom once we was fully ready, makeup and hair done too. She straightened her hair dead straight, her makeup perfect. "Oh there you are! You look beautiful" her mom smiled once she entered the room
"Thanks mom..Riley said there's this thing at topangas..?" I question. She nods, "yep we'll be there!" She replied, taking a seat in front of the blonde while she ate her pancakes
"Ready to go?" Shawn asked as he came into the room, putting on his jacket. The girls nodded, standing up from the table and following him out to door toward the cafe
She was glad she finally turned 18, she's finally an adult, she'll no longer be called a kid. Maya opened the door to the cafe to be greeted by Riley, "Peaches! You're finally here! Happy birthday!" Riley lePed into the blondes arms
"Thank you, Riles" maya hugged her back. Her parents found their way over to topanga and Cory, sitting down at a table together. "Okay Riley, My turn" Farkle pushed his girlfriend off of the blonde and gave her a hug
"Happy sweet..18.." Farkle chuckled as he hugged the blonde. She thanked him as well, seeing Isadora too. A few other students from school were there, as well as a few of Riley's family members. Maya tried her hardest to greet everyone, going round the room clockwise so that she doesn't miss anyone
Maya let go of her hug with a girl called Sarah who was in her history class, thanking her for coming. Her breath hitched in her throat as the person next to her was josh, Riley's cousin josh not the college boy
Maya swallowed, "happy birthday" he gave her a soft hug. Maya hugged him back awkwardly "Uh thanks for coming..I haven't see you in ages" she chuckled to break the tension
He nodded, his hand fixating to the back of his neck "I know I'm sorry..Just been really busy lately..I actually have to go I just came to wish you a happy birthday...you're not so little anymore, maybe we could go out sometime?" He suggested, placing a kiss on her cheek before leaving her side
Maya watched as he left through the cafe doors back into the New York streets. She turned back around, her eyes landing on Lucas and Zay who sat watching from the counter stools. Lucas gave her a soft smile while Zay, Zay sat back watching amused.
Her eyes lit up as she saw the blonde Texan, making her way over to him, she wrapped her arms around his neck while his snakes around her back "aww happy birthday baby" he mumbled into her chest, sitting down on the stool had made him a lot shorter
She smiled, releasing from him and giving Zay a big hug, thanking him for coming "so who was that?" Zay asked, pointing to the spot josh stood in before
"Zay.." lucas warned, giving him a look to say 'shut up'
