The reason I chose the name that I did is that the family with that name was extremely powerful and is known for helping to start the Renaissance in Italy. Another being the influence and rule they held during their 300-year reign. They were an extremely controversial family which I think is a good tie to the Mikaelsons.

Daniel Sharman looks amazing in the Netflix adaption! It also sounds cool when pronounced, but that's beside the point. If you don't like the name, feel free to still call her Hope in the comments when you mention her.

P.S Sorry for the fight scene. Not my best.

Anyway, I hope you like the finale. Season 2 is going to get a whole lot crazier.

Stiles was sitting in the middle of his room with Baby Name books scattered around him. He had a pencil in his mouth while he scanned what he thinks is the 100th book he's read. Every couple of hundred names he'd find a name or an abbreviation of one that he liked, and he'd write it down on a notepad. Each name had points next to it of why it was a good choice: ranging from significance, origins, and pronunciation.

He heard footsteps and a shadow cast over him, but he didn't look up. Stiles was too emerged in his tasks that he didn't recognize the person until his book was yanked from his hands. He was taken aback and yelled, "Hey!"

When he looked up, he blushed at the sight of an amused Klaus. Stiles kept his composer as his annoyance overruled his fluster. "I was in the middle of something. Can you give the book back?"

Klaus chuckled as he turned a page in the book and scanned the list of names. It seems Stiles was looking through names that started with T. "Anything specific you are looking for?" Klaus questioned curiously.

Stiles stood up and quickly snatched his book back; it was Klaus's turn to look at him in surprise. "Not really, no. I was making a list of names that I liked. You and Hayley could careless."

Klaus walked to the window and smirked. He looked back and teasingly questioned, "Oh. What made you come to that conclusion?"

Stiles scoffed when he dropped the book on his desk and crossed his arms. "The last time you ever mentioned names was on our date."

Klaus shrugged and gave a low hum. He bent down to grab the notepad and took a moment to look through it. There were a few names that stuck out, but none that Klaus was sure about. He stood up and asked, "Hayley?"

"She suggested a couple, but nothing that had Je ne sais quoi. Your daughter is a Mikaelson and the only one that has a relatively common name and spelling is Elijah. Even Hayley's name isn't the common spelling!" Stiles rants as he runs a hand through his hair and paces.

"There is plenty of respectful figures that had common first names with a unique last name. I lived through the Renaissance. For example, Leonardo De Vinci," Klaus reassures. He flips through the endless pages and takes in the detailed writing.

"Wasn't he-" Stiles questions and was shocked by Klaus' laughter.

Klaus' face morphed into one of amusement and smugness. He looked up for a moment and there was a mischievous glint in his eye. "Yes. I was living with one of, if not, the most powerful family at the time. They were really into the arts and Leo visited frequently. Art wasn't one of the only things we had in common."

Stiles snorted at the last comment and looked at Klaus in shock. Sometimes he forgot how old Klaus really was and how much he's really seen, and lived through. All the events he's ever been apart of or been alive for. "I can't imagine living during that time. Especially since religion ruled over most."
