The Unexpected

Chapter 6: Relief Mission

Heidi's POV

I awaken as sharp pain shots through my body as I struggle to sit up. "She is waking up." I hear Harry says to someone else in the room, "I will go get the doctor." Ally says as I hear the sound of a door open and close. "Where am I?" I ask sitting up in the bed all the way. "You are in the hospital Princess, you got stabbed pretty good and almost died." I look at Harry and as I look into his eyes I see the same range of emotions that he must have saw when the roles were reversed not that long ago. "Did we catch her? Did we catch Hartley?" I ask but Harry shakes his head with a disappointing look on his face,

"No unfortunately not, but I promise you on my pirate oath that we will find this Interloper and when we do I will hook her in her nonexistent heart." I place my hand on Harry's cheek and stoke it softly. "You look tired Hooky." Harry lightly grips my hand keeping on his cheek. "I wanted to make sure that I was here and awake when you woke up." I lean over giving him a kiss on his lips. "Where is Henry?" I ask as panic starts to overcome me by Harry quickly calms me down before the doctors and nurses think that something is wrong with me. "Henry is with Kylie safe and sound, and she will bring him by later today." I take a deep breath relaxing against the bed. 

"I don't think I have ever been more scared in my life then I was when I saw you laying there and I wasn't sure if you were going to make it." I smile softly at him knowing that Harry is never the kind of guy to show any type of emotions that could be seen as weakness, but when is around me he lets his guard down. The door to my room opens as Hadie, Ally, Uma, and Ella walk into the room. "Don't you ever scare me like that again squirt." Hadie scolds me before giving me a light hug knowing that I am not fully healed yet. 

"You are lucky Gabriella and I were able to talk Hadie and Harry from going on an Auradon killing spree just to get to the Interloper." Ella says taking Hadie's hand in hers. "Where is Ben and the VK's? I would have thought they would be here." Ally sighs sitting on my bed, "Ben and the others wanted to be here, but Ben and Mal has other things to attend to." I give Ally a confused face as I get the feeling that I am missing something. "What is going on Ally?" I ask gripping her hand in mine as she looks at me. "I am not supposed to say anything, Ben doesn't want you stressing about anything until you are full mended and back to normal." I look at everyone in the room and they all share the same look even Harry.

"Someone tell me what is going on or I will find out for myself." Harry cracks a small smile at me as he inclines his head. "Before Kylie came and told us about you and the Interloper Ben was discussing with us his concerns about the kids still on the Isle, and how he wanted to make sure that the Isle wasn't planning on revolting anytime soon." I feel a little betrayed that Ben would have this conversation without me there, I though that he thought higher of me than that. "Why was that such a secret?" Harry looks over at Ally who just inclines her head almost like giving him permission to tell me something more.

"We got word today that Ben has granted a relief mission to the Isle." I nod my head and start making my way out of bed. "Where do you think you are going?" Harry asks making sure that I don't leave my bed. "I going to help with the relief mission." Hadie shakes his head with a firm expression on his face. "You are not going anywhere; you are still recovering and are in no shape to travel." I feel something wet hit my hand as I turn to see that Ally is crying. "Ally? What is wrong?" Ally looks at me in the eyes with her tear-filled eyes.

"You can't go Heidi; you could be seen as a liability or get hurt even worse." Uma speaks up for the first time since she entered the room. "We are already taking a risk by traveling there and you know better than anyone that Auradon villains are not welcome on the isle, also with this new council of villains running the isle we have no idea what we are walking into." I know that in her own way Uma is just looking out for me but if anyone deserves to go it is me. "Can you at least talk to Ben about postpone the mission until I am well enough to travel?" Ally nods her head and I see that she feels better with that idea than just me running off injured into the unknown. "I will go talk to him about it." Ally gives me a kiss on the cheek before walking out of the room as the rest of us start talking about our plan for the isle. 

Mark's POV

I walk out of a secret cave hidden in the forest when all of a sudden I feel myself slip into a vision.

 I look around to see that I am standing inside the museum of villainy when I turnaround I am blasted backwards by the most powerful magic I have ever felt before. "So you are the son of the powerful Merlin?" Says an unrecognizable and distorted voice. I regain my composer and look at who attacked me to see nothing but a golden reflective liquid in the shape of person. "Who or what are you?" I ask struggling to make it back to my feet, "I am the one that you fear most young warlock." Says the unrecognizable and distorted voice just as my eyes go wide as it clicks in my head who I am talking to, 'The time of the necromancer curse is fast approaching and everything is falling into place." I stare deep into the golden reflective liquid,

"I won't allow that to happen, you are not going to be reborn into this world." I snarl at it, "How do you know that I haven't been already?" After hearing these words I waste no time in starts running to the entrance of the main part of the museum. "You nor anyone else can stop when Auradon and all the people that reside here will be forced to face their darker selves."

 I pull myself from the vision as my whole body starts shaking, "Things are happening faster than I predicted, the two halves of the contrasted balance aren't anywhere near ready, and the powerful wizard that will defect the Sanderson sisters has yet to arrive to Auradon." I start feel overwhelmed by fear as the future of Auradon starts looking very dark and bleak.
