Chapter 29: Family Day

Heidi's POV

I am curled up on Harry's lap while he leaning against a tree and both of us are very breathless. "This is not how I thought family day was celebrated." Harry jokes with his laughter shaking his body, "Why didn't you tell me about what happened with your dad?" I ask looking up into his blue eyes. "I didn't tell you because I didn't know how you would react, and I think me saving you was the best choice I ever made." Harry leans down giving me a passionate kiss on my lips.

I deepen kiss by wrapping my arms around his neck when a slick smile appears on his lips, "We keep this up we are going to miss the whole celebration." I giggle pulling out of the kiss, "In that case, I think we should start heading back, I am sure that people are going to notice how long we have been gone." I say grabbing my clothes off the forest floor. "I am sure that we aren't being missed that much except by Henry." Harry comments tightening his grip around my waist, "Which is why we should get back, because the longer we stay out here the more chance of Henry getting a sibling." Harry's eyes go big before taking me off his lap and placing me on the ground.

"You never have been more right Love, and I don't think either one of us is ready for that just yet." I nod my head while Harry starts getting dressed, "Harry, do you want more kids?" I ask him standing up and start getting dressed myself. "I never really thought about until Henry was born." I have to say that Harry is a very hands on dad, he seemed to learn from his father's mistakes as well as his own for that matter. "I just want Henry to grow up knowing that I always there for him." I smile at Harry giving him a kiss on his cheek just the two of us finish getting dressed.

"We need to have one more down the road at some point because I already gave you a son, and next is my daughter." Harry shakes his head as the two of us head back to the celebration, "You see how protective I am with you, now imagine what I would be like with a daughter." I take his arm and sling it over my shoulder before leaning into him, "At least we would know that she would be very protected by her dad." Harry just rolls his eyes with the two of us rejoining the party and walking up to Herkie who is still interacting with Henry.

"Thank you taking care of him Herkie." I give Herkie a kiss on his cheek and Herkie hands Henry back to me, "It is no problem at all, the little guy has a lot of family here in Auradon blood and not blood related." I look down at Henry when all of a sudden I see fire on the finger tips of Henry's hand, "We might have a situation." I say getting the attention of Harry who notices the fire right away, "How is this possible? He is not even one yet and he is already starting to show signs of Pyrokesis ability." Harry asks and I don't have an answer for him so all I can do is shrug my shoulders.

"I don't know, Hadie was 5 when he started showing signs, and I was 7 when I started." I start thinking about the vision I had in the museum and how this might be related to it, "There is something I need to tell you." Harry nods his head while still trying to keep a safe distance away from Henry and his unstable Pyrokesis. "A few weeks ago I was looking around the room that belongs to The Chernabog and I found this ancient looking mirror." Harry just stares at me with a blank expression on his face.

"When I looked into the mirror I saw Henry but he was older and had what is called phoenix fire. That type of fire is the most rarest yet most dangerous of fire abilities." Henry waves his hand around and seconds later Harry lets out an awful scream. "HADIE!" I yell as my brother rushes over and sees what is going on, "Why is Henry's hand on fire?" I just look at my brother as I hand Henry over to him before kneeling down to Harry, "Are you alright?" Harry shakes his head tightly grasping his forearm, "Let me see." I pull Harry's hand to see what look like a third degree burn on his forearm,

"We need to get to the hospital." I help Harry to his feet as the sound of my brother panicking gets my attention, "HEIDI!" Hadie yells and when I turn around I see that Henry's fire is starting to grown and get out of control, Carlos and Jay rush over and help Harry while I start thinking of someway to get this fire under control before it hurts anyone else, "Ella try cooling it down with ice." Ella nods her head before carefully walking up to Henry and using her ice magic on the fire. Ella stands there for several minutes but Henry's fire quickly melts Ella's ice, "My ice is no use Heidi, the fire is too hot." I sigh as I see Mark walk up to Henry but still manages to keep safe enough distance from the flames.

Mark starts waving his hands in a circle motion while concentrating on Henry and moments later the fire vanishes and everyone looks around baffled and terrified at what just happened, "How did you do that?" I ask turning Mark around so that we are face to face, "The bracelet around his wrist has the power of Neutralizing his abilities to a certain extent as long as he is wearing it, but I couldn't Neutralize his powers completely because they are far too powerful to contain." I know that kind of magic personally from past experiences but to see people scared of Henry like this already makes me even more scared at what will happen when he grows up.

"Thank you Mark." Mark nods his head taking in a deep breath then letting it out. "Protecting the redeemer of light is very important to me." I look at Mark in his eyes with neither of us saying a word before Mark walks off to rejoin the party, "That wasn't normal fire Heidi, we are fire manipulators and our powers were useless, and Ella's ice magic had no effect on it either." I turn to my brother not knowing what to say,

"What are you going to do? If you take that bracelet off that fire could come right back or something worse could happen." I sigh with only one idea in my head, "I am going to go talk to the only person that might be able to help, I need to talk to dad." I say to Hadie before taking Henry into my arms and start looking for my dad praying that he has the answers that I am looking for.
