Chapter 22: Symbol of Innocence

Dizzy's POV

I am finishing up cleaning up my shop for the day when the sound of the bell on the front door rings, "I'm sorry but I am closing up early today." I say as I lift my head to see Mars, Eliot, Juliana, and Charlotte standing there, "You're Dizzy Tremaine?" Eliot asks as I drop the broom in my hand and I freeze on the spot. "Don't worry runt, we are not here to hurt you." Juliana says snapping at me with an eye roll, "I have admired your talents since the isle, and it has always been a dream of mine to get a makeover by the legendary Dizzy." Charlotte says with excitement in her voice as she looks around bouncing up and down.

"I'm, hardly a legend anywhere." Charlotte sits down in one of chairs and spins around on it, "You have done everybody who is anybody on the Isle." I smile at that comment because I like to think that my makeovers do change lives in some sort of way. "Since you put it that way, I guess a few more customers wouldn't hurt." Mars takes a huge step back crossing his arms over his chest, "I am not into the whole makeover thing, I like my style the way it is." I sigh seeing so much potential in him, but I will just have to wait till he is ready. I turn my attention to the other three and start looking each one over coming up with a plan.

I finish up with the three of them and reveal my masterpieces. "With Eliot I went with a something that is a mixture of bold blue and white, and like everything else I have done, it is something completely original." I smile as Eliot admires his new hair,

"This is awesome Dizzy, I have never seen anything like this before." I let out a breath of relief. "The white tips were a personal choice but seeing it now I have to say that the white definitely accentuate the blue."

I turn my attention to Juliana. "Now you told me to keep it simple which was a challenge for me, but I think you are going to like what I did." I turn her around to reveal the simple red highlights I put in her hair even though I wanted to do so much more, 

"I like it, and it stays true to my laid back and easy-going nature." I sigh wondering why people come to my shop and get basic stuff done. "I am glade you like it."

I turn my attention to a bouncing Charlotte. "I think you are going to love with Charlotte." I reveal Charlotte's makeover which includes her new black and white curled hair 

and her black and white nails. 

"OH MY GOSH!" Charlotte screams looking at her reflection in the mirror, "Dizzy, it is beyond what I could have imagined." Charlotte jumps up from her chair and start running her fingers through her hair. "I can't believe that my wish of a Dizzy makeover has finally come true." Charlotte gives me a bone crushing hug and I have to say that it is nice to meet someone that has more energy than me.

Charlotte and Juliana pay for theirs while Mars pays for Eliot, but before they can leave the door opens again only this time Mars and his friends go into protective mode faster than lighting, and when I look towards the door I see why because standing in the doorway is the young woman that seem to be causing a lot of trouble here in Auradon.

"What do have here?" The young woman asks as she steps foot into my shop and the door closes behind her, "GET OUT TRAVELER!" Mars roars but the traveler just laughs, "I came here to pick something up, it is very important that I get it." Mars snarls at her before sending a blast of magic at her but instead of hitting her the young woman seems to absorb it, "Thank you young man, I needed a little pick me up, being stuck in this body is becoming more and more of a hassle, which is why I am in a hurry." The traveler uses her own magic to send Mars and his friend flying through my shop and them crashing into things,

"What do you want?" I ask not wanting anyone to get hurt as the traveler walks up to me and looks deep into my eyes, "So innocent and pure." She says with the evilest smile on her face, "Just take what you want, but please don't hurt anyone." The traveler takes my hand in hers before turning my hand over and running her finger over my palm. "I don't need much, just enough to fill my vial." The traveler pulls out a strange look vial from her around her neck before reaching behind her and pulling out a dagger.

"DIZZY! NO!" Eliot hurries to his feet before running over and swinging his leg at the traveler and connects right on her chin sending her stumbling back, "Dizzy run as fast as you can and get as far away from here as possible." Eliot commands in an authority type voice, "What about all of you?" I ask looking behind me to see Mars helping the two girls to their feet,

"We will be fine, but whoever this traveler is seems to be after you." I nod my head before crawling under Eliot's legs and head for the door, but like a scene from a horror movie before I can get anywhere the traveler back hands Eliot sending him through the glass window and out of the shop.

"I am done playing games." The traveler growls darkly as she reaches down and picks me up by neck bringing me to my feet, "Now you are going to give me what I came for." The traveler uses her magic to freeze Mars, Juliana, and Charlotte in place before grabbing my wrist tightly before using her dagger to slash my hand open. "LET ME GO!" I scream in extreme pain before getting thrown onto the floor as the traveler screws on the top of the vial that now contains my blood, "Thank you your contribution, and by the way I am a huge fan of your makeovers." The traveler smiles before waving her hands over herself and vanishing into a cloud of pitch-black smoke.
