Hadie's POV
"I don't mean any disrespect sir, but I would rather be alone right now." The young man says with a polite tone of voice, "You seem like you are trouble, or hiding from something." The young man sighs as he looks back at the icy water and I carefully step up next to him, "Talking about what is going on sometimes helps." I say seeing a power struggle going on inside of this young man even though I am looking at his reflection from the water, "Things in Auradon are different than I thought they would be, and I am not the most stable person in world." I incline my head sitting next to him kind of understanding where is he coming from,
I can understand that, when I was a student here everything was complicated, just trying to live any sort of normal life felt like swimming in a never-ending ocean." I young man looks over at me, "That is exactly how I feel, then add my crippling social anxiety and panic attacks on top of it." I nod my head as that feeling comes back over me and I place my head on his shoulder feeling this odd connection to this unknown young man, "The unstableness I encountered in woods, I am guessing that was you?" The young man nods his head as tears fill his eyes,
"I had a panic attack and lost control of my powers. My powers are connected to my emotions and as of late I feel more like my powers are controlling me rather then my controlling them." I form fire in my hand and stare at it while the young man looks at both the fire and me in disbelieve, "You have Pyrokesis abilities." I smile nodding my head doing some fancy tricks with the fire, "Fire is believed as the most dangerous element, but when you really think about it any of the elements are dangerous when in the wrong hands." I stare deeply into the fire as the image of my father starts to appear.
"It takes practice in order to separate your emotions from your ability, but I know that it is possible because I have seen it firsthand." I put the fire out and turn my attention back to the young man, "Usually I have my necklace to help me control my powers, but once I lost it in the woods my powers took on a life of their own." I reach into my pocket and pull out the necklace that I found earlier. "Is this the necklace?" I ask holding up the necklace and the young man eyes go big as he takes the necklace from me, "Thank you, I don't know what I would have done without it, my mom and dad made this themselves just for me." He smiles as the places it around his neck and takes a deep breath,
"I have never seen anything like that before." The young man runs his hand along the pendent which seems to help relax him, "I was born with more than one ability which is why some of the kids in Auradon aren't as accepting as others." I replace my hand on his shoulder, "Never be ashamed of you are. Most of life I was taught that anyone who didn't fit in or was different were to be treated like they didn't matter, but then I met my Ella and ever since then she has taught me more than I ever thought possible, and I love her for turning me into a man that I can look in the mirror and be proud of." The young man nods his head with a smile on his face,
"That is how I feel about this girl in my class named Amelia, she is teaching me that the kids from the isle aren't anything like we are told about." This comment catches me off guard a little bit because it makes it sound like the Isle and Auradon are still at war with one another. "By the way you how did you find me all the way out here?" I place my hands in my pockets trying to come up with an explanation that doesn't sound creepy, "I heard you singing and just followed it." The young man takes a deep breath, "Singing helps me calm down, but I also have to be careful with my singing." I raise an eyebrow at him with a confused look on my face,
"Why would you have to be careful about singing? It is not like singing can hurt anyone." The young man looks away from me and back to the water, "My singing is more dangerous than any other of my abilities, especially since I am the first male siren in history, or a new breed as my grandfather calls me." This causes a million emotion and questions rush to the surface but before I can say or do anything the sound of another voice catches my attention as a young man comes out of the brush with a panic look on his face.
This young man has brown hair and mesmerizing emerald eye color, he is wearing an opened blue suite jacket with a yellow dress shirt underneath, a necklace around his neck with a rose pendent on it , a large golden ring with green and purple mixed colored dragon on his left hand, and expensive looking blue sneakers with purple and green mixed laces. "What is it Malcom? What happened?" The young man asks walking away from me and over to Malcom who is catching his breath,
"It is Henry, he has been saying for weeks that he has been hearing this strange voice that only he can hear from somewhere on the Isle and then after yet another huge fight with Charles, Henry has taken off by himself to the Isle." A look of worry comes over the face of the young man as I try to understand what is going on, "We need to get him, the isle isn't a safe place for Henry of all people." Malcom nods his head as he looks over at me, "I didn't mean to interrupt you spending time with your dad." Malcom says and the moment I hear this everything around fades away.
The sound of Elden crying brings be back to reality as look down at the baby in my arms, "I am not sure what that was, but it certainly has me freaked me." I say to Elden as Ella walks over to the two of us and takes Elden from me, "What is the matter Hadie? You look like you have seen a ghost?" I stand there trying to wrap my head around what I experience but I can't seem to bring myself to do it, "It is nothing babe, I will tell you about it later." This is all I say as Jay, Evie, Carlos, and Queen Mal all start welcoming people to the celebration.
