Heidi's POV

I am watching Paul get taken to the hospital as Pan and Wenda hop into the ambulance and it takes off, and I sigh walking up next to Wendy, "Why didn't you go? You are his mother and if he is going to want anyone by his side it would be you." Wendy smiles at me but shakes her head, "You would think that would be true but Paul has always been a daddy's boy rather then a mommy's boy, and I will meet up with them soon." I can't imagine me being Paul's place and not wanting my family there for support.

"I noticed Pan and you talking and judging from the expression on your face it was upsetting news." Wendy places a loose strain of her hair behind her ear while letting out a long and loud sigh, "Pan was put in a difficult situation and had to make an impossible choice." I give Wendy a small sympathy smile which she returns but I can still see the range of emotions swirling around in her eyes, "What did Pan do Wendy?" I ask straight out but I soon regret it because it could be personal or strictly family business.

"Pan gave up his immortality and passed it on to Paul." I look at the woman stunned beyond words. I stare at Wendy for what seems like forever as I try to wrap my brain around the face that Peter Pan also known as the boy who wouldn't grow up is actually going to start aging. "What does that mean for him? I mean without his immortality Pan would be almost 70 years old." Wendy nods her head and I can almost see her thoughts as she thinks back on the old days.

"We aren't sure what exactly is going to happen, but my son is alive and that is all that matters at the moment." I give her a quick hug which catches her by surprise but she returns it. "Heidi." I pull out of the hug to see Laurel standing there, "Yes Laurel?" I ask as Laurel gives Wendy a small smile before turning her attention back to me, "Ben is going to be holding a United States of Auradon Kingdom council meeting and has requested that you be there." I sigh as Wendy walks off heading to the hospital.

"Why me? Those meetings are so boring, it is just a bunch of people talking over one another on what they think is best for their home." Laurel gives me a look basically telling me that I don't need to tell her because she has been to all of them since Ben became king. "Alright, lead the way." I say in a sarcastic tone but Laurel just rolls her eyes and takes my hand leading to the tree where these meeting are held.

We are deep in the forest when we finally reach the tree, "You never told me why Ben wanted me here." Laurel shrugs her shoulders before opening the door and walking inside with me right behind her, "Ben values your input almost as much as the Queens." I find that odd but then again Ben and I have been very close since the day he was tied up on Uma's ship. I can already here the sound of arguing as Laurel leads me into the Ben's chamber where Ben and Mal are talking about something, "Thank you Laurel, that will be all." Laurel bows to Ben before leaving and closing the door behind her.

"Thank you for coming Heidi, it means a lot to me." I smile at him and bow to him and Mal before Ben heads out of the chamber and gets ready to face the other representatives. The sound of arguing gets louder as Mal steps out and me behind her. "People please, everyone will have their chance to speak!" Ben yells but it doesn't seem to be working, "SHUT UP!" Yells Mal as the room goes silent and the other representatives turn their attention to us,

"Well excuse us Queen, but some of us are in a panic since Auradon doesn't seem to be as safe as promised." Anxelin comments from her chair as everyone starts whispering to each other, "If something about these villains attacking isn't done soon then Bayou De Orleans will have no choice but to recede from Auradon." Opal says with a huff and to my shock almost half other the representatives agree with Opal.

"We have to think about our kingdoms and our own people." Artie says as more of the representatives agree with wanting to leaving Auradon out of fear, but Ben finally speaks up, "I have any idea, it might not solve the villain crisis, but Queen Mal and I have been talking and we think that it is time to dissolve the United States of Auradon Kingdom council, and officially create the Auradon Kingdom senate." The representatives start talking over one another again but from the parts of the conversation that I can understand it sounds like everyone agrees with Ben and Mal.

"This would mean each Kingdom would have to reelect who they would want representing them on the new senate." The representatives all agrees but I know better and I know that the forming of this senate is only a Band-Aid solution because I really think that Ben and even Mal don't have a clue what to do about the recent attacks.

My phone goes off and I see that Kylie texted me to meet her outside. "Ben, I am going to take off." Ben takes my hand in his and he looks deep into my eyes, "I want to thank you for coming, and as a token of my thanks I would like to ask you to join the Auradon Kingdom senate as an adviser for Auradon City." I am speechless to Ben's offer to and I have to say that I would have never seen this coming.

"Ben, I would be honored to be your adviser." Ben smiles as he places a gentle kiss on my hand, "Thank you." I smile once more at him before bowing to him and Mal then I leave meeting up with Kylie outside.

"What is going on?" I ask her as she simply smiles at me, "I have been away for weeks and I thought that this would be the best time for us to take a walk through the woods to catch up with each other and more importantly I thought you could use a break." I smile at her thinking how lucky I am to have Kylie in my life even when she hasn't been in Auradon that long.
