Chapter 4 - Love Already

Taehyung POV

I had been searching for some time.
In the halls, outside, the cafeteria.
She's gone.
'why can't I find her?'

Y/N POV

"No, You're stupid." you chuckled at Yeri's comment.
"Yah!" Mark looked offended by her.
We stood next to the gate, waiting for Kai, once again.

"Y/N!" was that Taehyung's voice?
"Shit, It's Tae. We should go now." Mark started walking with Yeri following right after him.
"There you are." Taehyung ran up to you. "Wanna hang out?" you almost choked on your own saliva.
"I'll take that as a yes. Follow me!" he smiled.
You followed him. It was scary how he'd change personality so quick.

"What are we doing here?" You looked around the small, but cozy Cafe.
'Is he into me?'
"I thought we could get to know each other better." He pulled over to a table.
"Tell me about yourself." he sat down, his hand holding up his tilted head.
"Uh uhm, I have 5 stepbrothers and a dog." you mentally cringed at your bad description.
' Why did I walk with him? Goddammit Y/N!'
"Can I see your dog?" he asked.
You pulled out your phone, showing him your best picture of Byeol.

"this is Byeol, he's a 3-year-old st. Bernard." you explained.
"Meh, he looks tired and stupid." he added.
'Bitch, what?' you mentally cursed him.

Taehyung POV

We'd been hanging out for hours now.
I had started talking a liking to her. She was really easy going and chill.
'I like her.'
After a long time, someone cared.
She was so captivating, I couldn't get enough.
"thank you for today." I looked at her house. It's wasn't massive, but it seemed to could hold a big family.
I turned to her, kissing her on the cheek before leaving.

'who knew love could hit so fast.
She's just so hypnotic. I wanna be with her already, just close to her every day and night.
But those boys...
They were a little too close to her.
I didn't like that. I'll just have her fall in love before them.
With Y/N, there was gonna be a strong reason to be alive.'

Taehyung was caught up thinking about Y/N, he was forgetting about her feelings and thoughts on him.
Taehyung had found someone to love and protect and that's what he's going to do.
Y/N didn't need anybody else, just him. Her friends are just burdens anyway.
That night, she was all he could think about.

Y/N POV

You entered the small bedroom.
Byeol was filling half your bed already.
"Look who finally decided to show up." You looked at him.
He softly lifted his his head from the pillow.
"Tsk, you bed digger." you layed down beside him.

Looking up at the ceiling, remembering today.
Taehyung seemed interested in your personal life, interests and hobbies, especially male friends, but quiet about his own.

~Flashback~

"So what hobbies do you have?" He asked, looking at his milkshake.
"I go to Basket, volleyball, swimming and soccer." Taehyung smiled impressed at your answer.

"What about you?"
"Huh?"
"We only talk about me. Tell me something about you."
Taehyung froze, clearly taken back by the sudden question.

"I-I- hav-ve a f-family... Speaking of, what are your step-brothers names and how did you get them?" he looked up at you, directly into the eyes.
Your eyes wandered away from his.
It was clear.
There was something about his family he didn't like talking about.
Maybe they just fell apart.

" The oldest is Seojoon, he's 20.
Then there's Seokjin, he's 19.
David, he's 18.
Hwayoung and Hwiyoung. They're 17 and twins.
And me." you looked at him again.

"did a parent die or something?"
"No, they fell out of love, when I was 6 and decided to divorce on good terms.
3 years later, my dad met a woman who got pregnant as a teen and had 5 sons and then they got married...
My real mom, I don't see her often. She moved to the states."

You attempted again to spark a conversation about his family. Not gonna lie, it was weird describing your and stop-moms marriage.
"What about your parents and siblings?" He looked sad, tears pressuring to fall.
You just silently rubbed his shoulder as a comfort.

~End of Flashback~

It weird how he avoided the question, but that wasn't your business.
Maybe someday he would explain, just not now.
After getting up and doing your night routine, you jumped into bed.
You quickly fell asleep.
Byeol right next to you.
