It was a normal rainy day, and just like any other day, you we're waking up and felt much heavier then usual, you looked to your side and saw your childhood friend sleeping peacefully while hugging you tightly, this caused you to blush a little
(Y/N) POV
As i saw maribelle sleep peacefully beside me, i couldn't help but blush at her but then she looked like she mas waking up
"*yawn* good morning (Y/N)"
"Um... good morning mary, might i ask why are you in my bed?"
"Hmm?...oh,well its because our parents are out for the week and i was scared of being in my house alone, then i heard a loud thunder storm and i jumped to your room from the window"
"Ok i get that, but i already told you, we cant sleep together anymore, where both teens now"
She then looked at me with a sad expression "But...we always slept together when we we're kids,i just wanted to feel safe with you like back then"
After hearing her confession i felt bad "but its not like i wanted to stop sleeping with you also... how about this, we'll sleep together whenever you feel scared, that way you can sleep peacefully with me"
Her expresion lightend up quickly as she tackeled me in a hug "yes, that sounds ok to me" she said so happily
I hugged back and after a while i looked at the clock "7:26 am, better get the day going, so mary wanna have breakfest together"
"I'd love to, but first i gotta get out of my sleepware"
"Ok, ill see you in the kitchen then"
"Sure thing sweety" i blushed at her calling me that, then maribelle then opened the window and hopped on the tree that conects our rooms and got to her house
I went to the kitchen and started making breakfest for the both of us, while i was at it i started to remember how we first met
12 years ago
School was going along as always, math was just as easy but in the middle of the lesson the principle came in
"Good morning students, i have some news for you all, starting today you will have a new classmate so i expect you all at your best behavior"
"Yes Mr.Sargent"we all replied
"Good, you can come in now"
In came a girl that looked rather shy

"Good job maribelle, why dont you take a seat over there" the principle was pointing at my table and maribelle sat besides me
The class started agian and i finnished fast, i then looked at maribelle and saw she eas strugeling

"Huh, oh y-yes please, math is imposible for me"
"What? But it's easy, look all you have to do is..." i started to explain to her how ecuations worked and by the finnal problem she was able to do it on her own

"Phew, that was much easier to learn then how my dad shows me, thanks sweety"

"Oh sorry, its just that my mom always says that to my dad after he helps her in anything"
" oh, ok then"
Aftet that school went by and i was heading home but i heard maribelle shout my name
"(Y/N)!!!" i turn around and saw her out of breath "mary? Where are you going" i ask
"Im going home, my house is this way"
"Really, mine as well, lets see whos house is the closest"
After 10 minutes of walking i saw my house
"Hey my house is over there"

We looked at eachother confused, so shes also my new neighbor
"Looks like we'll be friends for a long time, right (Y/N)?"

After breakfest and finishing the chores, me and mary we're playing a game on my console, after a few rounds of beating eachother we looked at the time and it was 3:23
"Oh right, would you like to go to the summer festival mary? We can check out that new ice cream you want to try"
"*gasp* the double sweet neo cherry ice cream, sure lets go"
...We left to the festival and saw the ice cream shop with the ice cream mary wants, we enter the shop and where greeted by the employe
"Hello, welcome to summer scream, what would you like to order"
I then asked for "a double sweet neo cherry ice cream please"
"You two love birds want to try our new couple tray"
I was confused and red after the employe said that, i was about to say we wern't dating but i felt mary wrap her arm around mine
"yes please" mary said, i looked at her confused and she replied with a sweet smile making me blush, "ok, go ahead amd take a seat" the employe was geting our order ready and we sat down
"Umm...mary, why did you say that, we arnt even dating"
"Well, i forgot to tell you that this ice cream was for couples only, im sorry" she looked down in guilt, i then rubbed her head
"Hey its ok mary, i was just of guard, just warm me next time"
"So your not mad at me about this"
" pfft, why would i be mad at you for something like this, besides, if you really want to try this ice cream" i grabed her hand "then im willing to be your boyfriend" i said with confidence
"(Y-Y/N)" maribelle said blushing a little
"Heres the ice cream for the love birds, enjoy"
Timeskip
After a trip at the festivel we walked home together
"That ice cream was so sweet (Y/N), i cant wait for next year to try it again"
" me niether, well it's time to go to bed mary"
"Ok well good" *KABAAAAM* A loud thunder striked down and scared maribelle
"AHHHHHH" She rapidly huged me tightly and started crying
"Mary its ok, its just thunder"
"*sniff* i- i know, but its still scary" she only hugged me tighter then before"
"*sigh* wanna sleep with me tonight?"
Maribelle was shaking her head amd i hold her as we got to my room
We layed down in my bed and another thunder striked down loudly making maribelle's grip tighter
"Its ok mary, im here" i hugged her as we started to fall asleep but right before we fell asleep completely i heard mary say
"Thanks for *yawn* being with me (Y/N), i love you...zzz"
"*yawn* i love you to maribe...zzz"
And we both slept not knowing what we said to eachother that night.
