On an average sunday, I was in a school bus heading to the new school my grandparents signed me into, since they felt I deserve a better education for my grades and behavior
Once I made it I got off the bus and got surprised when I saw the school, it was big empire like building with a wall surrounding the place
"Is this a private school?" I asked in confusion, 'where they even able to afford it without going dry'
the front gate opened slowly making me look in front, and I saw a woman with a welcoming smile, who I assume is the principal of the school
"Hello young man, you must be (Y/N) (L/N), our new transferred student" she said
"Y-y-yes, ejem, that would be me" I said stuttering
"There's no need to be nervous Mr.(L/N), even though you are from an inferior place, your profile shows that your a very promising person"
"Umm... Thanks, I guess" I said not sure if I should be offended or complimented
"Now follow me, I will give you your schedule and take you to your dorm" she said walking in and I did as told
Some time later
After receiving a tour of the school from the principal and putting my things in my dorm, I decided to wonder around the school and see what else I can find
I found a calm place outside and I decided to sit under a tree to read my favorite book before school starts tomorrow
it was really quiet here with only he wind breezing, and after a while a sound of a staff was heard, I looked to see what it was and I saw a girl walking by with walking poles on her arms to help her stand
'well that's something I didn't expect here' I thought, then the girl had to walk up some stairs, she was able to walk two stairs up but she lost her balance and fell down and I got up and went to help her
"Are you alright?" I asked the girl from behind, but she didn't answer and tried to stand up, she was able to stand a little but fell backwards and I caught her before she hurt herself "it's ok I got you"
The girl then looked at me with a confused look and I helped her walk to get her poles and we both climbed up the stairs not with her grip tighter as we got up
"And, we made it" I said as we got to the top, the girl got in balance putting her poles on again and turned towards me, she then put her fingers in front of her lip's and Moved then forward and a bit down in my direction with a small smile and slowly walked away making me confused
"Hey wait, would you like any help to where your going?" I said to her but she didn't respond
"Oh, I see that you already helped Amelia for me" I heard someone say behind me, and I turned around and saw another girl slightly older then me
"Is Amelia the girl that has trouble walking?" I asked
"Yes indeed, I really appreciate you helping her" she said nicely
"It was nothing, but I feel like she wasn't that thankful, she didn't hear me or responded to what I say, and she just pretended to blow a kiss at me after I helped her" I said a bit offended and the girl giggled
"Oh no, she didn't do that at all, she just said thank you in sign language"
"In sign language?"
"Mmhm, my sister has some problems besides not being able to walk properly, she's also can't hear or speak either" she said sad
"Oh, so that's why she didn't hear me or responded"
