Chapter Twenty Six

"No! You're lying!" Mina exclaimed in disbelief as she threw the picture of her wife and a woman kissing each other.

"Mina, I didn't expect you to believe me right after I said it. I know it's hard to digest but that's the truth!" Jared answers back while trying to lower down his tone.

Mina covered her mouth and tears are starting to fall down her cheeks as she shook her head in disbelief.

"N-no. She will never do this to me." Mina lowly stated.

Jared sighed and hugged Mina. "I'm sorry." he said and comforted Mina. "I'm sorry if my sister did this to you. But the picture says it all. She's lying to you, Mina. Who knows about her real job there? You said, she didn't tell you about her new project with that woman, right?" Jared asked and Mina nodded.

"I'm here for you, Mina." Jared spoke worriedly.

Mina doesn't know if she would believe him or not. She trusts her wife so much. She kept her mouth shut for a moment as she digests everything he says.

Jared told Mina about her wife's recent project with that woman. He never named her, he just said that the woman is currently Y/N's affair.

No. My wife promised me. I should trust her not him. I should ask her. I should know the truth.

Mina let go of the hug and stood up.

"There's no way my wife will do this to me. You're lying, Jared. Stop pestering me." Mina said to Jared sharply as she stormed out of the cafeteria.

"But Min— Mina, wait!" Jared can only scratched his nape. "Damn it!"

"You shouldn't have done that!" Y/N exclaimed as she looked sharply at Reina who's now standing in front of her.

"I know, I know! I'm sorry. I just.. I like you, Y/N. I like you so much." Reina confessed as she walked near Y/N.

The latter took a step back. "I am married for damn's sake, Reina! You shouldn't have kiss me in front of those people and told them that we're in a relationship!" Y/N irritatedly scratched her nape.

"I'm sorry." Reina started to sob and lowered down her head. Y/N saw the tears on Reina's cheeks that made her feel guilty for shouting at her.

"Shit." Y/N mumbled. "Fine. I forgive you. Just don't do it again." Y/N calmly said that made Reina lifted her head and smiled widely to Y/N.

"Thank you, Y/N. I promise I won't do it again."

Y/N nodded her head and walked out of Reina's house. Leaving the girl in her wide mischievous smile.

Y/N came back to the camp only to see her friends giving her a long face.

"I know. I know. I'm sorry." Y/N said as she understood what her friends are trying to say.

Karl went near Y/N and gave her a smack in the head. "Gaga ka kasi! Hinayaan mo, ayan tuloy!" Karl scolded her.

"Grabe. She's so unpredictable." Maxine commented pertaining to Reina.

Y/N sat next to Reign. "I already told her that I'm married nung araw na nagconfess siya. Hindi ko naman alam na ganon ang gagawin niya."

"Are you going to tell your wife about this?" Reign asked, looking at her.

Y/N gave her a look back and sighed. "I don't think so. She doesn't know about my project with Reina. Ang alam niya iniiwasan ko na si Reina. And besides, she's pregnant. Alam niyong hindi siya pwedeng ma-stress."
