Chapter Thirty Five

"You need to sleep early, Mina, come on." Y/N stood up from her sitting position on the floor and reached out her hand for Mina, who's currently sitting on the couch, as they both watched their favorite movie together in the living room of their house.

Mina smilingly took Y/N's hand in hers and nodded adorably childishly to her wife.

They both walked in together into their room. "I'll just go to the bathroom, love." Mina said to Y/N.

The latter shifted her gaze to Mina from her phone and nodded her head then looked back at her phone.

Mina's forehead creased a bit, thinking why her wife was always sticking her nose up on her phone every single day. She noticed it. She noticed it two days after they went to the hospital. She noticed how Y/N quickly picked up her phone once it beeped. How Y/N's lips formed a smile but she tried to force it not to be seen on her face, especially when she's sitting next or near Mina. She even caught her wife talking to someone over the phone while smiling from ear to ear. Y/N also began to go out of their house, which never happened before because Y/N was an indoor person. She only gets out of the house if she has to buy groceries or some important errands to do but now, she began going out constantly. Leaving Mina with the care of Maxine and Karl.

Mina couldn't help but to overthink but every time she would ask her wife about it, she would just hear her telling that it's only one of her best friends. Mina believed it at first, she trusts her wife more than anything. She wants to be better for her wife, just like what she promised, and being a controlled and nagger wife will only make Y/N leave her, which she never wants to happen. So she easily believes everything that Y/N has said to her. Even if she knows very much clearly how Y/N reacts every time she, herself, tells a lie.

Mina knows every single cell of her wife.

Mina tried to open her wife's phone screen one time, last night, when Y/N was from somewhere she doesn't know and went home extremely exhausted so she fell on a deep sleep. Mina took that opportunity to clear her mind about her wife's secrets on her phone. She grabbed the device on her wife's side table very carefully and tried to unlock the phone, but to her surprise, Y/N changed the password of her phone.

And to double her doubts, a text message popped up on the screen with a contact name of 'J' but she can not read the message as it was hidden. Maybe Y/N turned off the show message on the settings of her phone.

Since then, she really got suspicious and super jealous about who on earth was that 'J' that keeps on talking to her wife. That person wants to take her wife away from her and she will do everything to keep her wife, knowing that the result of Y/N's tests for her sperm cells will be released in two weeks.

After they went to the hospital, the doctor told Y/N that the result will be out in a month. That's too long of waiting but the doctor explained that they need to ask the other doctors, who are expert in this kind of problems, about their own findings just to be more sure and clarified.

Mina was hesitant to ask her wife's best friends. She badly wants to know who's that person. But when she asked them about it earlier this morning when Y/N was still sleeping, they said they didn't know anything. Y/N wasn't talking about that 'J' every time they'll have a talk. But the three best friends of Y/N promised that they won't cover up for their best friend's hidden agenda if EVER she has one.

"Mina? Aren't you done yet?" Mina heard her wife's soft voice calling her behind the door of the bathroom, taking her away from her thoughts.

Mina faced the wide mirror on the wall of the bathroom in front of her and practiced her smile. She was always doing this because she doesn't want Y/N to know that she already being suspicious. Y/N was starting to become her old Y/N, whose sweet, caring, thoughtful, and gentlewoman, but there are two things that were missing, and it was Y/N's breathtaking smile and love.
