My mind still in daze with the announcement that my mom did. She tried to approach me but I declined. I don't know what to do with that thing. I don't know if our company is near bankruptcy and I'm a payment. I don't know. There are a lot of things playing in my mind.

I feel that my body will shut anytime. I'm so tired but I don't want to give up. I don't know what's my parents plan to me with this. Only one thing I know, my freedom is now gone.

"Hey, look Yahna we both don't want our parents announcement" saad ni Neil

We decided to met to a near café in my house. We need to talk about this matter. Agad naman akong pinayagan ni mommy dahil alam niyang si Neil ang kasama ko

"Sino ba ang may gusto nito? Sila lang naman eh. Bakit ba kailangan ko mapasok sa ganito?" nanlulumo kong saad

"You have a.... a freaking girlfriend Neil. You should do something" bagsak na brasong saad

"What should I do? Sabihin kay Mommy na i-off ang engagement? Sa tingin mo makikinig sakin yun?" tuloy-tuloy niyang tanong

"Anong gagawin natin?"

"Act like a couple"

Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi niya. Masyado siyang kumportable para sabihin yun. Neil is a good friend of mine. I don't want to involve our friendship with the thing what our parents planned.

"Naririnig mo ba yang sinasabi mo, Neil?" iritado ko nang tanong sa kanya

"I'm deadly serious Yahna. Oo may girlfriend ako and I can to anything just to leave in that relationship" seryoso niyang saad pero parang may tumusok sa puso ko

"Tangina bakit parang kasalanan ko 'to?" nanlulumo kong tanong

"I don't want to ruin our friendship lalo na kung ang dahilan nito ay iiwan mo si Nickie. She have been through a lot, her memories will not back anymore. She's figuring out everything about her. Neil, she needs you by your side" seryoso kong saad sa kanya

"How many times I told my said that she needed me but it wasn't enough because she's looking for someone and it wasn't me" sabay umiwas siya nang tingin

"What do you mean?"

"She's looking for my half-brother. I'm not telling about my family kasi masyadong kumplekado pero hindi ko alam may mas kukumpleka pala" at ngumisi siya

I don't know what he was saying.

"Don't mind it" pag-iiba niya naman agad

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Hindi ko naman akalain na ganito pala ang bubungad sa akin pagkauwi ko. Hindi rin nagpaparamdam sa akin si Alfonso.

"Hey, do you have any idea where Alfonso where right now?" bigla kong pukaw sa kanya

"I don't know. Why, is there something going on between the two of you?" and the side of his lips rose.

"Wala, bigla kasi siyang nawala last time we had a dinner"

"Mawawala talaga siya, ikaw ba naman marinig yun tapos harap harapan pa"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play safe Yahna. Kung may manhid man sa ating dalawa, ako yun. Aminin mo sa sarili mo na nabibigyan mo nang kahulugan yung mga ginawa niya sayo"

Nagtaka naman ako sa sinasabi niya. I know he's a busy person kaya wala siyang time para sa mga social medias na yan.

"I saw his posts," he laughed. "I saw how that bastard fell hard" and then he laughed again.
