Nick's POV (surprise!)
"are you sure that they are in town"
"Our men got word last night"
"Shit"
Dalen seemed tensed. I am too. With them in town, we constantly have to be on our toes.
"With Miles in town, we need to try and keep as many eyes on him as possible"
"I'm sorry did you say that Miles was in town?" I turn my head to look at Erik and Chez entering the office with bags of chips and sodas in hand.
"Yes and now is not the time for snacks" I rip the chips out of their hands
"There is always time for snacks"
"Shut up!" Dalen stands from behind his desk and starts to pace around the room "Look Miles must be here for a reason, what could it be?"
"I don't know, but I overheard Dylan talking to Mike that Miles has been complaining that he's not getting paid enough"Chez explains while stuffing his face like a slob "But I have no clue as to why he would come here" We all stare at him "Want some?" He extends out the bag if chips before Erik slaps them out of his hand
"You dumbass, if he's complaining about not getting paid enough, he's probably here to ask for a raise"
"And like hell he's going to get one"Dalen stopped pacing before sitting on his desk
"Then what are we going to do"
"We wait until he wants to meet up and we explain to him as to why he's not going to get a raise, it's that simple"
"As of it's every that simple with Miles" Erik sits down. He's right Miles isn't a simple guy. He's great at doing what he needs to do but he has to keep in mind that we run these around here, not him.
"Yeah, he has to have something up his sleeve"
"Chez?" He looks up at me "Do you know something we don't"
"Are you trying to call me double sided?"
"No,i'm just trying to understand what your saying"
"All, I'm saying, and not saying he will but, what if he finds out about little lady"
Dalen glares at him "What does Diem have to do with this?"
"That's what we said about Katrina but we all now what happened and all I'm sayings is-" I cut him off but slamming him against the wall holding him by his collar
"Now Chez, I have a lot of respect for you, okay, a lot. But you bringing up my sister like that,ooo, you are lucky you have a slight concussion or else your ass will be on the ground right now" I let go of him and walk over to Dalen"Don't worry about dork, okay. She'll be fine, he won't get anywhere near her"
"He better not"
I leave the office after a while and head to my room.
Why did Chez have to bring up Kat. He knows how much that girl meant to me. And him just bringing that back up is like me reliving it
"I don't under stand this guy, he messages us to meet him on the bridge at 2am and not to be late, yet here we all, on time and he's late"
"Just shut up Chez for once in your life please"
"Erik I'll shut up once you learn to grow a pair and use a gun"
"Oh, I'm sorry if I'm scared i might accidentally shoot one of my best friends"
"Both of you be quiet he's here"
We look forward to see Miles walking up the bridge with some men behind him"Evening gentlemen"
"It's 2 am what do you want Miles"
"Straight to the point, that's what I like about you Willis. I want more"

"More product to move"
"No, considering you can barley clear what we give you now, there's no way we're going to give you more"He must be crazy if he thinks we're going to trust him with that much product
"Is there no trust? I promise I'll move it all"
"We already said no, don't try and push it"Dalen was about to turn around to leave before Miles spoke again
"I had a feeling this would happen. So maybe lets look at this in a different light" He makes a motion to his men before they bring someone forward. a very familiar someone
"YOU MOTHERFUCKER, YOU KIDNAPPED MY 8 YEAR OLD SISTER!!!!" I would have flung myself at them if it wasn't for all the guys holding me back
"So, here what's going to happen, you are going to give me more product to move by Friday and Faille over there gets his sister back. Deal Willis?"
"I already told-"
"'I already told you, you're not ready' blah blah blah. It's a yes or no question"
"Bite me bitch!" I bark at him
He reaches behind him and pulls something out "Noted"
Within a second Miles turns to my sister and cut open her throat and stabs her in the gut. I stare wide eyed along with the rest of the guys as we all froze. I just witnessed my little sister die. How did he find out about her, we try our hardest to keep the ones in our lives hidden
"Is your answer still no? Or do I have to bring out the next sister" Erik slightly shook for he has a sister that he deeply cares about
"Fine, you can have more product to move"
"It's always great doing business with you gentlemen, have a good night" He walks off as if he didn't just murder a 8 year old girl
I release myself from the guys and walk over to her and notice her once red cheeks are now pale. I kneel down and pick her up and hold her in my arms. I sob. I sobbed god dammit. I could care less if the guys were all watching me. She was all I really cared about and now she's gone
"Nick, we have to rid of her"
I nod my head as I pick her up and walk. I don't go to the car but instead walk till i hit a clearing. "Here"
The guys all started to dig while I just held her in my arms. It wasn't long until the hole was complete. Before I place her in the hole I take off her necklace that has a 'K' and put it in my pocket before lay her down
"Sleep tight Kat"
