Lars × Human Reader

Y/n's POV

     It's been a few weeks since I seen Lars. Due to that, Steven and I are going to go see him today. Hopefully he won't mind it. He's probably doing cool gem stuff so I wouldn't really want to bother him.

     "Steven are you sure that it's okay that we see him without any notice?" I asked him for the 3rd time.

     "Yes of course it is. He said we could visit him any time and we don't have any way to tell him before we come. Plus, I bet he will be very excited to see his girlfriend." She laughed as he nudged my arm a little. I laughed as I slightly looked up at him. He maybe be 16 and 5'6 but I'm still kinda shorter than him. Only by 3 inches though. Steven held my hand as we jump through Lion's mane. It looked so pretty in there, too bad we can't breathe in here. We then jumped through Lars hair. Well, more like Steven pulled me because I wasn't paying attention at all. I landed in Lars lap and Steven landed on his feel in front of Lars.

     "Hey babe." I laughed as I looked up at him. He pulled me into a really big hug as all the other gems awed at us, Padparadscha awed a few seconds after wards.

     "I've missed you. I expected you to come visit sooner." Lars said after he finally let go of me and sat me in a more comfortable position on his lap.

     "It's only been 3 weeks. Yeah I missed you but why would I come to see you so soon, I'm not that clingy." I laughed.

     "I just didn't think you could stay away from this beautiful face for so long." He said as he flipped his hair.

     "Oh shut up. I dealt with you being gone for longer, you even died and I was fine." I laughed as I pushed his forehead.

     "Yeah because crying in your room was being fine. If you knew that I had died you would have been hysterical." He smirked at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and got off his lap. I greeted the off colors and had a small conversation with each of them about how they felt now they are back into space.

     "Hey Y/n, come look at this." Lars said as he called me over.

     "Bet that's just an excuse for you to give him attention." Steven laughed as I walked away.

      "Probably but I'm not complaining." I laughed back. Lars patted his lap for me to sit down. After I did he pointed at a distant planet. It looked beautiful. It was very colourful and it looked like it was sparkling, maybe even covered in glitter. If the colors were more vibrant and didn't fade into each other, it would look like a kids drawing that really liked glitter. "It looks so beautiful."

     "Not as beautiful as you though." Lars said. I could practically hear his smile as he wrapped his arms around my waist and put his head on my shoulder.

     "That was smooth but also cheesy." I laughed as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and patted his head.

     "That's just how I roll." He shrugged.

     "Yeah I know, that's why I love you." I laughed as I leaned back into his chest.

     "I love you more." He said as he kissed my cheek.

     "In your dreams space boy." I laughed as I shook my head. I was enjoying being in his arms and looking at all of the stars and pretty planets that went by.

     "Why can't you just stay here? It would make being in space so much better. The off-colors even like you so they wouldn't mind at all." Lars mumbled.

     "Let me remind you Mr. Immortal. I'm still human and I need to use the bathroom along with eat food. I have seen neither of those things on this ship or in space." I laughed as I turned sideways to face him. My legs were now over the side of the chair we were sitting in.
