*Third person's pnt. of view*

A week after Anila and James took Aisha home, Karla came back for a visit, and though she tried to focus on her task of evaluating Aisha and her environment, it was quite hard to do it in a room surrounded by an entire pack council, including the Alpha and Luna.

Karla found herself rushing to escape the tension from the expectant gazes of the council, but nevertheless, at the end of her evaluation, she congratulated the couple and wished them the best of luck in the future with their daughter.

James and Anila were over the moon with joy, and Aisha fit right in with her family, and became instant part of Anna's and Joey's gang.

About a month on, Anila felt different. She woke up one morning when waves of nausea washed through her body.

She quietly tried to move from the bed without waking Aisha who was snuggled between her parents. She rushed to the bathroom, and quickly splashed some cold water onto her face, but just as she thought she felt better, she rushed to the toilet where she hunched over, throwing up.

Confused, and slightly worried, she mind linked the one person she knew could help her.

"Luna, I am so sorry to bother you this early morning, but something's wrong." Anila contacted the Luna.
"Hey, what's up?" Adelina replied after a moment.
"Um I don't feel so good." Anila replied.
"Alright, I'm on my way." Adelina assured, then a few minutes later she was there.

Anila snuck her into their bedroom, then they tiptoed to the bathroom.

After doing a quick assessment on Anila, Adelina didn't see anything physically wrong with her.

"Tell me about the nausea." Adelina asked, as Anila wiped a cool towel on her warm head.
"I've been having it the past few days, especially when I smell certain foods, but I've never had it in the morning, that's why I called you." Anila explained, her brows furrowed, could something be wrong with her?
"Wait, only certain smells get you nauseous?" Adelina asked making sure she understood completely.
"Yeah..." Anila confirmed.
"Oh my God." Adelina stated in a soft whisper, a smile creeping on her face.
"You're smiling. Why are you smiling?" Anila asked carefully.
"Anila, I think you're pregnant." Adelina explained, and Anila blinked before realizing what the Luna had said.

When she did, she shook her head as she said "no that's not possible, I mean, James and I have been trying for years, nothing has worked."
"Well okay, let's just do the test and see okay?" Adelina asked, knowing that this was a sensible matter and it wasn't right for her to build up excitement until they were sure.
With a silent nod Anila agreed.

Adelina mind linked Cilia who arrived quicker than expected with two pregnancy tests.

As Cilia was trying to sneak into James' room, she bumped into a piece of furniture, and a book that sat there unstable, toppled to the ground.

James was awake in the blink of an eye.

"Cilia?" He muttered still sleepy.
"Gotta go!" Cilia all but dashed to the bathroom, quickly locking the door after her.
"Cilia? What the heck is going on? Where's Anila?" James was banging on the door.

Adelina giggled and covered her mouth in hope that James didn't hear her.

"Wait, is Adelina in there too? What the heck is going on?" He asked again, but received no reply except for the hushed giggles he heard on the other side.

Confused and slightly grumpy, James called in the Alpha and Beta.

"Hey what's going on?" Demitrey asked when he arrived.
"I don't know, how about you ask your mates." James shrugged, and perplexed, Demitrey knocked on the door.
"Babe? Are you there?" He called out, as the three men waited, anticipating for a reply.
"Be out in a minute." Adelina called out as she eyed the two pregnancy tests which were dipped in Anila's urine.
"Wanna tell me what's going on?" Demitrey asked.
"Girl stuff." Cilia called out, as she rubbed Anila's shoulders, who in that very moment, was a nervous wreck.
