Josh's POV

I AM being jumpy. Hindi ko maintindihan ang sarili dahil pakiramdam ko ay may kung ano sa paligid na gusto kong hanapin.

"Olivia, nag-eenjoy ka ba?" Dinig kong tanong ng asawa ni tito Eric, na ama ni Raven.

She's eyeing a petite girl. Maganda ito, maputi at mukhang excited sa mga nangyayari.

"Mom, ang ganda po ni Ate Raven. She will really be my sister?" Anito. I am just seeing her back but something in me is screaming to reach her. So this is Raven's stepsister.

"Yes, anak. Pero hindi natin siya makakasama ng madalas because she's getting married." Sagot naman ng asawa ni tito Eric.

"I know right. Feeling ko, if you're a legendary, required talaga na maganda ka at gwapo...not just maganda and gwapo but to the point of extremities. I feel like they are not human at all." Hangang saad nito.

I will agree with her. Raven is extremely beautiful na kahit hindi siya ang amour mo, magkakacrush ka talaga. In my case, yeah I got attracted the first time I saw her pero nawala din iyon ng makita ko na pinopormahan ito ni Vander. I don't like competition between friends.

"Mom, I'll just look for Arkheisha." Paalam nito at pumihit na ito at nakita ko na ang mukha niya na mas klaro. She's beautiful but more like cute. She was happily walking to my direction and I am also gazing at her.

My heart is beating so fast and I don't fucking know what's happening. The girl saw me because I am noticeable in this crowd. She stopped and a flash of recognition is in her eyes.

"You were the defendant's lawyer...I mean, Raven's." Saad niya sa akin. Amazement is still in her eyes while looking at me.

I made a small smile at her. "Yeah. Josh Peterson at your service." At inilahad ko ang aking kamay sa kanya.

Her smile never left her lips. "I'm Olivia Salmonte, Mr. Peterson." Sagot nito at tinanggap niya ang kamay ko.

When the moment our hands touched. I felt it...a string has been tied. A feeling that has been on slumber for years has been awakened.

My amour!

I gulped pero hindi ako nagpahalata. For years, I never seek for my amour, at hindi ko inasahan na mahahanap ko siya sa pagkakataon na ito. I thought I have none. Hindi lahat ng eon ay nagkaka-amour dahil ang dapat na nakalaan para sa kanila ay namatay na. But she's here.

"How old are you?" I asked without thinking. I know it's ridiculous to ask that. It's offensive for girls to ask their age, but it already slipped my mouth.

Confusion flooded her eyes but still she answered. "Just turned twenty last month. Why?"

Very fucking young. I am already in my thirties for crying out loud. I am fucking thirty one and she's...just twenty.

"I thought you're minor." I said it as an excuse but still, I feel being scandaled because of this.

Her lips protruded. Fucking lips that made me the urge to kiss this young maiden here.

"I'm not a minor. I am already twenty. I am already an adult." She answered like so proud that she's already twenty.

Fucking too young still. I know she's in legal age, but I never thought it will be an eleven years gap! I feel like a dirty old man!

"I'll excuse myself, Mr. Peterson. Nice to meet you." Nakangiting paalam niya sa akin at naglakad na ito at tuluyan na nilagpasan ako.

I clenched my fist and stopped the urge to stop her or follow her. I need to think with a lot of things. I need to sort this fucking hesitation.
