Your pov

"Uwaaaaahhh" I yawned out loud before slumping on my desk "Hm? (Y/n)-chan, did you get enough sleep last night?" Hinata asked. I slowly lifted my head up and looked at him

"E-eeeepp! You don't look good at all (Y/n)! 100%! Not yourself!" he backed away, crossing his arms making a huge X. Kageyama's face turned pale as he too saw my face "How many hours did you sleep?!" he asked, struggling to keep his posture. I yawned again and slammed my head on the desk "2 hours" I replied

"TWO HOURS?!" they both shouted in sync earning a death glare from our homeroom teacher

"How will you go for practice in this condition?!" Hinata whispered "I'm not going for practice" I mumbled "You should, since you haven't practiced volleyball for two years" Kageyama stated "True, but without enough rest, my body cannot move forward" I yawned again. They both frowned and gave a look of frustration. I couldn't help but responded with an apologetic smile

"Sorry, but don't worry, I will be cheering you both on the bench"

Kageyama and Hinata: ACK! *struck right through their heart*

"Y-you don't have to (Y/n)-kun, y-you can go home and rest" Hinata stammered with a flustered face "W-what Hinata boke said! You shouldn't waste any more of your energy and just head straight home!" Kageyama added, his face too flustered.

"Okay...." I softly replied before dozing off in class.

Hinata's pov

Kageyama and I looked at (Y/n) sleeping form. He looked like a restless prince who can finally sleep after a fierce battle. "I wonder what he has been up to that caused him to stay up this late" Kageyama asked. I looked at him before looking back at (Y/n)

"Homework I guess" I responded "But we didn't even receive that much work yesterday" he answered back. We both scanned (Y/n)'s figure again and realized that his right hand fingertips have been all wrapped in a bandage. Kageyama held his hand as I leaned closely beside him.

"It's firm...strong.....as if he had been practicing all night"

We both looked at eachother other before Kageyama gently placed (Y/n)'s hand down. "You think he's been up all night because he had been practicing?" I asked "Guess so" he responded as we turned around and left our sleeping prince to continue on with his slumber.

Your pov

I gave another restless yawn as I walked out of the school gates

Flashback

"Okay, but make sure you come for the practice match tomorrow"

Man Ukai-sensei is an awesome coach, unlike my previous coaches

I shook my head as monstrous images of my previous coaches appeared.

"Meoooowww~" looking down, I saw a black cat looking up at me before it nuzzle against my legs "Kawaii" I softly smiled before bending down and scratching its chin "Huh? You have a collar? What's your name little fellow?" I asked before carrying him in my arms and checking his name tag. "Kuroo... Kuroo-chan?" I blinked

"Eh? And there's no contact details of your owner? Good grief" I sighed "Well then Kuroo-chan, it seems like you'll be staying with me for a while, thank goodness Chase isn't home or else he'll be playing with you forever" I sweat dropped.

Narrator's pov

Meanwhile

"Kuroo! Kuroo-chan!!"

"Why are you calling your name Kuroo?" Kenma, the setter of Nekoma High, asked as his childhood friend started to look around the street frantically "Kenma! Have you seen Kuroo?!" The captain of Nekoma High Boy's volleyball asked "Um you're here?" Kenma replied a bit confused "No! My cat! Cat!"

"You named your cat Kuroo?" Yamamoto scoffed

"We talked about this Kuroo. You should give him another name, no wonder he ran off" Yaku added

"I need to find KUROO!!!"

Back at (Y/n)'s resident

Kuroo the cat sneezed as (Y/n) dried him off "Hm? A flu?"
