She was anxiously tapping her shoe on concrete floor, eyes swiping over the parking lot, a few students strolling idly, and some were heading to settle between the space of cars - hidden - probably doing something ridiculous.

First lecture had already started twenty minutes ago, she had initially planned to attend her classes, to get involved in basic conversation with him,

But he had the grace to be late, he was nowhere in his dorm, or in the building, she had asked kyle, who nonchalantly shrugged,

Her bag weighted heavier as time flowed and she sat on the steps, elbows on her knees, fingers knotting together, sluggishly lowering her shoulders, for the strips of fell and freeing her from heavy weight.

She filled her mouth with air before huffing, a group of pedestrian existed the collage's entrance, laughing among themselves, paying no mind to the girl sitting on the steps.

She waited, once in a while a thought of leaving crossed her mind, which had her getting up, her back ached from stooping, she flings her legs to get rid of cramps.

She tentatively glanced at her wrist watch, one hour had passed and yet he wasn't there,

Where would she probably wonder to find him, she herself saw Kyle locking their dorm, grumbling that Damien had again forgot to take his keys,

He wasn't in the college, because she had been grading the entrance like a faithful dog. She would've seen him, Caroline would've informed her if things happened otherwise.

Perhaps he got into an accident, or someone robbed him, and then shoot him,

She heard her heart violently thudding against it's protective walls, an up rise in a steady beat,

She was being insane for panicking over her absurd fancy,

He must be in someone's home, maybe in a small gathering or --

Her thoughts didn't let her notice the approaching figure, until the person stopped in front of her

A moment of bewilderment stretched among them, pairs of eyes went wide, staring at each other,

Until, He took a step forward and brushed pass him, she stood staring at the spot which was now empty,

"...Damien"

Her steps hurried and she followed him,

"Damien" yelling his name, like wasn't only one step a head,

She bumped into his back, the hangings of his bag, felt cold against her skin,

He stumbled forward, but caught himself before his downfall, only to fall his another downfall,

"What," the fimilar green of his eyes giving away no sign of recognition, and for a second, she thought he was someone else,

"Why aren't you on time, I thought you weren't coming,"

"I was busy,"

"Yeah?, ok, " she shifted from a foot to another, bitting her inner cheek in discomfort,

"which class do you have now?" she breathed in hastily, "can you wait for me I just need to get my bag and we can go together,"

Damien heaved a deep sigh,

"What are you doing?"

"I was waiting --" she began to rumble, but

He shook his head in disdain, "What are you doing here talking to me?" When I made it clear that I don't want you, was that he wanted to say,
