Gerard's P.O.V

Next day.

We walked into the school together. Still in shock. The halls went quiet as the students and teachers stared at all five of us. Then they all started to cheer and clap. I felt so exposed. Only Bob seemed to be fine with the attention. Typical. The school announcement speakers made a beeping sound to indicate a announcement. Everyone went quiet again.

"Good morning students and staff. A few announcements this morning. To start off with, Mr James is ill today so maths will be taught by Mrs Star. Lunch special today will be Pepperoni pizza in honour of Gerard Way and My Chemical Romance. Lunchtime will be a celebration party. There's no classes today but there is a assembly. Today is a day of celebration. Hopefully our winners will agree to put on a performance for us. Assembly starts at the school bell. Have a nice day."

I groaned. That was so embarrassing. I was mentioned over the speakers. At school. Yay. God kill me now.

"Will you be performing?" Jennifer Carter from maths asked me. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

My eyes widened. What the fuck? I turned to Frank, but he was being asked questions too. They all were. I turned back to the girl. "I don't know if we'll be performing yet." I answered. "And no I don't have a girlfriend."

About four girls including Jennifer, tried to push each other out the way to get to me. Oh shit.

"Can I be your girlfriend?" Jennifer asked.

I looked back at Frank again. He smiled back at me. I pleaded with my eyes for him to help me. He smirked then pushed the crowd out of our way so he could pull me into his arms. His lips hovered by my ear. "I think a little kissing session should stop the girls asking us out. You up for it?"

I grin. "Always."

Frank pulled back to look in my face. Then he closed the gap and sealed his lips onto mine.

"I think that kiss is just to stop you girls asking them out." A student pointed out.

Frank ran his tongue over my lips. I parted them to allow him to explore my mouth. His hands snaked under my shirt at the back to touch my skin and pull me closer. I tangled my fingers in his hair. I tugged slightly to pull him closer. Mikey nudging us made us break apart. We stayed in each others arms. He never moved his hands from under my shirt. But I moved mine to rest on his arms. We looked back at the shocked girls.

"Gerard is taken, girls." Frank informed them. "He didn't lie about having a girlfriend. He has a BOYfriend. He's mine." He beamed at them.

Jennifer smiled. "Wow." She said. "Your such a cute couple." She looked genuine. Everyone else agreed with her. Both male and female. I was so surprised.

The bell went. So we all headed to the school hall. Frank held my hand the entire way. Mr Matthews gestured for us to sit in the front row. He waited for everyone to take their seats and quieten down. Then he got up onto the stage and stood behind the mic.

"Well yesterday's Regional Talent Show was amazing this year." He started. Today's about us then. It's going to be a long day. "The band's there were amazing. I heard that most votes were always for our very own boys. In fact I was told that only twelve people voted for Colourblind over My Chemical Romance." What? He's got to be exaggerating. Hasn't he? "To think that all the song's our boy's performed were from the mind of Gerard himself." I wish he'd stop that. It's bad enough that every time he made a reference to any of us or the band, everyone cheered. I wonder if I can sneak out? "I would like to ask the boy's to come up here to join me."

I guess not then.

We all stood up and walked to join Mr Matthews on stage. I noticed our instruments already set up. I guess we are performing then.
