(Shoutout to one of my actives who's waited like a week for this update lmao)

'23 Weeks, baby Yelich is the size of a grapefruit and still moving around like CRAZY!' I finish writing out on our board while Christian finishes up getting ready so we can head to the park after we get our picture for this week. The little guy is growing pretty quick here it seems like starting to make himself a little bit harder to hide but still not too bad where anyone would think to ask me about it. I don't think so anyway, but there's definitely a baby on board. As long as I'm not wearing anything that's tight I can still get away relatively easily. This is the first week where if I was out in like a sports bra or crop top that people could tell it was a little more than I just ate too much or something.

"Little guys getting big huh?" Christian asks as he comes down to the basement where I've gotten everything set up for our 23-week picture.

"A whole grapefruit," I say running my hand over my small bump. "A whole grapefruit that apparently wants to be an MMA fighter when he's awake."

Christian laughs a little over my slight annoyance of my son getting his little kicks and punches in. He's been calm for a little bit now so I can only guess he was taking a nap and he'll start right on up again relatively soon here. "Well with two parents who are professional athletes, I'd be a little surprised if he wasn't active."

"Yeah, you're not the one getting your organs kicked around," I tell him laughing as I pose for the picture. Christian chuckles a little as he snaps it and almost at the exact same time there's a little kick or punch to the top of my little bump. I laugh looking down at it, "Speak of the little devil."

"Did he just kick you?" Christian asks shaking out the picture.

I nod, "Yeah, right here," I say poking the spot back. "Here I bet you can feel him now. Sometimes I can see where he's hitting if he's stretching or kicking hard enough."

Christian puts his hands on my little bump and we wait for the little dude to kick around again as I hang up the little picture on the clothespin on the board next to week 22. "Holy shit," Christian says after a particularly strong move from our kid. If I had to guess he was finding himself a more comfortable spot, "You can feel that right?"

I can't help but laugh, "Yes I can feel a grapefruit-sized baby moving inside of me. I've been able to feel him moving since 18 Weeks he's just more prominent now. Trying to hang out with daddy apparently."

"Well, daddy can't wait to hang out with you either little man," Christian says talking into my belly again. I think this is my favorite part about being pregnant, how adorable Christian is already interacting with our son even though our son can't really react or interact with him yet. "Can you like make him move?"

Laughing a little I shake my head, "I don't know, he's gotta do it on his own, give him a minute he was just napping I'm pretty sure because I didn't feel anything for a little while before he kicked around those last few times." Christian and I just sit there with each other his hands on my belly while we wait for our kid to do something for him. After a minute or two right under where one of Christians hands there are two little tap one after the other. That had to have been his feet stretching out.

Christian looks up at me with the biggest grin on his face, "That was two right?" I nod, "Little dude is gonna give momma some trouble huh?"

"Oh god, I can't even imagine if he keeps this active when he's a little bigger. Right now it's not really a problem but he'll get a good jab once in a while." I tell Christian laughing a little as he takes his hands off my belly. "I've got that glucose test thing next week so I won't be able to join you on that road trip right away."
