I heard someone knock on the door, only to see Mateo peeking his head through. It looked like he was still upset and came running towards Aubrey and buried his face in his legs. Aubrey glanced up at me, I shook my head and him telling him to deal with Mateo.
I heard Aubrey cough due to the awkwardness, he picked Mateo off the floor and put him in his lap.Mateo didn't even glance at me,I rolled my eyes at him and nudged Aubrey to deal with him,
"So Mateo, do you mind telling me more about what happened" Aubrey said rubbing Mateo's back trying to comfort him. I slapped Aubrey's arm hardly telling him to get to the point, Aubrey coughed due to the awkardness.Mateo rubbed his head into Aubrey's chest, he let out a sob,
"Mama slapped me and it hurt."
I rolled my eyes at mateo and continued to hit Aubrey under the covers forcing him to be more forceful, Aubrey winced and looked at me in the corner of his eyes giving me a stone glare.
"Mateo, you will never say that to anyone again and if you dare to expect more than a slap next time. Now apologise to your mother"

Mateo continued sobbing into my chest, I comforted him waiting for him to stop crying. Mateo soon calmed down and i felt his soft breath on my chest and the pace softened. I put Mateo down on the bed watching Mateo's chest move up and down slowly. I looked at Aubrey and smiled at him,
"You did somewhat good, it's good that your more stern with him." I pat his back and got up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom door.
"Where do you think your going?"
"Where else am i going? Space? Im going to the toliet."I rolled my eyes at Aubrey's stupidity and was going to open the door until Aubrey grabbed my hand, dragging me back towards his chest.
I gasped as my body connected with his. I looked up him and saw him staring down at me. he gave me a look that i could never forget. i couldn't tell if it was filled with love or hate,
"you think u can hit me without a punishment"
anyways he held me closer, i felt his nose breath it was stankin, but i just dug my head in deeper to avoid the smell that shit smelt like pure doo doo. anyways he held me closer and he made me feel safe, i felt like the world was in my grasp.
