Chapter 13: Discovering the Truth About Rose Quartz

It was the day after Conner told Nora about his hero identity and the mission, Nora was in the living room watching Amythest teach Pearl how to use her cell phone, but Nora was looking at Pearl the whole time and in deep thought about what she and Conner saw in the vision and was thinking back about what eyeball and blue zircon said about what her mom did and why as it even possible in the first place for her to do it.

She soon got a text from Pearl as she was trying to text for the first time, then Amythest left to get a phone case giving an opportunity to asked Pearl about if she was the one who shattered Pink Diamond but all Pearl was doing was covering her mouth with both her hands forcing to keep it shut, after all that happened Nora went out to Sweet Justice while sending a text to Conner to meet her there, so they meet up and got some treats to go and went outside trying to enjoy the day

"I don't understand, the second I asked Pearl if she was the one who shattered Pink Diamond, she clamps both her hands on her mouth," said Nora as she was finishing up her ice cream

"That is weird, it's almost like she's forcing herself not to say anything" replied Conner as he was eating some chocolate

Just as Nora threw away her trash she received a text from Pearl saying "I want to tell you but I can't" with a monkey emoji covering its' mouth, Nora read it aloud so that Conner can hear it too.

The two looked at each other and as if reading each other's mind they ran back to the beach house and slammed opened the door

"Pearl! I'm ready to talk!" shouted out Nora over the noise of a vacuum cleaner, looking over Pearl as she was vacuuming the warp pad, then turns it off to listened what Nora said, "uh, what?"

"I-I got your text "I want to tell you about it but I can't" with a monkey emoji?" says Nora as she showed the text message to Pearl

"Nora, I didn't send that, I haven't used my phone since I put it away this morning," said Pearl in a doubtful tone

"Maybe you butt dialed Nora? With your gem?" asked Conner as he looked over Nora's shoulders to see the message

"No! That's impossible, hang on I'll pull it out and we'll get to the bottom of this" said Pearl as her gem glowed and pulled out a remote control

"See? Here." but then notices that it not her phone so she pulled out other objects but her phone didn't show up in the pile that she was forming

"Pearl? Are you okay?" Asked Nora looking worried at her guardian

"*Groan* Where could've I put it? I know it's in there somewhere" questioned Pearl worryingly

Then Nora received another message "*Gasp* you just send another one" she then showed it to Pearl showing a pink emoji flower

Pearl looked at the message in shock then touched her gem in a worried manner then looked at the two teens

"Nora, Conner I need you two to go inside my gem and find my phone," she said in a serious tone

"What? Is it stuck in there or something?" asked Nora

"There are certain things I can't tell you, but I can tell you I need my phone, please, I can bring you both back once you find what you're looking for," said Pearl as she stood up

"Your phone?" asked Conner

"Exactly! Nora, I'll keep your phone and text me with mine when you find it" said Pearl as she took Noras phone off her hands
