Chapter 14: Meeting the Heroes and Learning from the Past

During the time when Nora and Conner were in Pearls' gem in search of her phone, Robin was telling the League and the Titans about him eavesdropping on Conner and Noras' conversation the other day and he even told them that Conner revealed the mission and his super identity to Nora, and that really puts everyone on edge.

"WHAT?! He told her everything!" shout out Green Lantern

"Is he really that foolish to expose himself and the mission?" questioned Martian Manhunter

"But why would he tell her in the first place?" asked Starfire

"Crap, this may have been my fault" spoke out Superman with a worried look on his face.

That got everyone's attention and they all turned their heads to look at him.

"What do you mean by that, Clark?" asked Batman

"It was after we had our meeting about the gem locations and the Diamonds, Conner told me that felt guilty about exploiting Nora after she showed him and Robin almost all the gem locations and for keeping it all a secret, including his hero identity" responded Superman "So, I told him about my situation with Lois Lane, I explained it to him and he must've taken the advice on another direction" added Superman with his eyes looking downward.

"He must've thought out a plan to tell her after your conversation" stated out the Flash

"So where is he now?" asked Blue Beetle

"The tracker in his jacket showed that his last location was in the Universes' house and then it vanished" spoke Cyborg

"And it wasn't like the last time when he went off-planet, this time it just vanished, it's like he disappeared" added Martian Manhunter

"Looks like we have no choice but to go the Universe residence and finally meet the Crystal Gems, face to face" stated out Batman, as he stood up.

Everyone stared at him wondering if it's now time for them to meet and confront them but they want to make sure that they weren't trying to make it look like an attack, so they all gave it a thought, and eventually someone spoke out.

"I'm afraid Bruce is right, everyone head straight to the Universes' house," said Wonder Women "we're going to meet one of the first beings who protected this planet and see what we can learn from them in person" added Wonder Women as she stood up from her seat while looking at all the heroes.

All the heroes looked at one of another almost like in a telepathic way then they all agreed to go there, so without wasting another second they all started heading towards the Metropolis temple. Everyone went on their own way of transportation to reach the destination, unnoticed, and once they got there some of them started to admire the good work of covering the cave with the beach house and the asphalt driveway/road.

"Wow, they did a great job with the construction, it almost like the house is blending with the rocks," said Green Lantern

"Now's not the time to admire the house, Hal," said the Flash narrowing his eyes at Green Lantern

"What?, I'm just admiring the hard work that the constructive workers had done to make this and, surprisingly, keeping this a secret," stated Green Lantern holding both his hand up in a surrendering manner at the Flash

"Knock it off, both of you, we're here greet the Crystal Gems and Nora and to just admire the architecture of the house" stated out Martain Manhunter
