"Steph, wake up."

I groaned a little when I heard a soft whisper in my ear. My eyes were still closed but I can properly hear the noise of the aircon.

"Hey." The soft voice called again but this time, his warm palm touched my cheek.

My eyes were still a bit blurry when I decided to open it.

"CJ?" It's my soft voice.

I tried to reach his face using my right hand. He's still holding my cheek so when a tear shed from it, he immediately wiped it. He's wearing his smile again, slowly nodding his head.

"Why are you here?" My voice cracked.

"I miss you." His smile became sad.

Nothing changed from his physical features. He still got the looks, his messy hair, his shining black eyes---everything. I also missed everything--every bit of him.

"I miss you too." I sobbed.

"Then why did you leave me?" I was shocked when his eyes shade darker. "Why can't you save me?!"

I couldn't talk when his hand from my cheek get a grip on my neck. He strangled me like he didn't even shown me a single affection just a few seconds ago.

"P-Please." I tried to reach for his hand but I just can't. I can't move!

"Steph!"

"No!" I can feel the humidity of my body even if it's cold.

My shocked and puffy eyes roamed around the unit. I can hear the noise of the aircon and the shouts of the rain outside. My body was wrapped with a thick but soft grey blanket and Cy---he's holding both of my shoulders, looking at me with his worried eyes.

I cried like hell when I felt a painful stab in my chest. My fears and guilt were slowly eating me up again.

"Shh, it's okay." He slowly caressed my back, making me sob more. "You just had a nightmare."

"Why are you still here?" I can't help to ask when I'm finally done crying.

Cy's now making some coffee for me. He even wash the dishes and arranged the other canvas I left in the floor.

I sighed when I saw a delivery of korean spicy chicken at the table. Looks like he even ordered some foods for dinner.
